I'm not giving away christmas+haywood contract for a 31 years old Redick, and I'm the one that counts

Roughly, this is post-Marco and doing mental math, roughly 21-22 Million in Cap. Using Spotrac as reference and just adding Marco to it with his 3 years 19 Million.

As for him being an upgrade, defensively he would indeed be one, offensively though I believe Collison has that in the bag and chemistry wise (I know, Kings and chemistry, bleh) he has more going for him as well. Dunno who would start in that case, I do value defense higher than offense in all circumstances, but that's just me.
So after you grab Beverley or Rondo you need a PF right? How about Brandon Bass? Has a great mid range jumper. Seems like that would complement Boogie and WCS. Just keep piling up on B's

Bass, Boozer, or Barngnani to go along with Belinelli and Beverley

Boozer and Bargnani do you realise how bad they are?

And do you realize I was responding to a post from a Kings fan about what options and needs they have left and what types of players might be realistic for them to join their franchise in the current state it is?

Put some more thought into responses than just a one line, out of context attempted burn. This is a message board, not twitter or a AIM back and forth.

Yeah I did realize.. I'm not trying to burn at all, I just think certain players shouldn't be an option to a team since they are net negative so why even bother.
I'm sorry if it sounds that way.

No worries. On a team like the Kings, who are going to struggle to get FA's and who just traded away two PF's(Landry/Thompson), getting in a guy like Bass as a 8th/9th guy would be pretty good.

I'd agree that Boozer/Bargnani are net negatives, but if the Kings have no other in house options, they still might decide to look that way.

In any event, thats more than enough Sacramento Kings talk for now.

Was actually thinking about Koufos, but that's probably a pipe dream at this point. Bass wouldn't be too bad. But I just have to lol at Boozer and Barg, even in the state we're in I wouldn't stoop myself that low but if we're desparate...We need a 3rd Big in a bad way now that we just have WCS and Cousins, unless you count Moreland? :p

If we get Beverley or Rondo, my next target would be Koufos or another solid big like Bass then go for depth at other positions, I believe we'd resign Andre Miller for cheap, and Casspi wants to stay so SF would be okay if he came back like he sounds like he wants to.

Patrick Beverley has agreed to a four-year, $25M deal to return to Houston, agent Kevin Bradbury tells Yahoo Sports.

That's a pretty good deal for Houston considering some of the insane numbers being thrown around this summer.

A healthy Beverley is a menace defensively, and he's not bad on the other side of the ball either.
