The Suns are trying to dump salary actually. So the Haywood contract looks very good to them as it would basically dump Bledsoe and contract and allow them to max another player. The Question is do they feel F.A or a trade for assets get them there faster. If they are in win now mode that Haywood contract looks very good to them

They are not going to give us Bledsoe for a salary dump Joe Harris and 2 euro prospects.
Stuff like this is just a waste of space.

I never said they would I said Haywoods contract would be useful to them. Of course we would have to give up more. Unless they are sure they can sign L.A then they could rush a trade like this. Hey I am the no way this happens crowd, just thinking in the what if world. Did anyone think two years ago this would be the team we had going forward? Wtf... I am not dreaming of him well yeah I am in the real sense so what part of "I do not think this will happen" Don't you understand. Wouldn't you like some players on this team would be very well would be near impossible to get yet could happen? Yeah then okay you get my point. To be honest I think the Suns keep him.

No disrespect but, you have yet to give me one solid reason for them to just throw way their best player for trash. You mentioned no one could have seen us with this roster as your example. We gave up two number one picks to get Love. Not saying Bledsoe is on the same level, but he is just one level below. GM's get fired for giving away players like Bledsoe for free in their prime. Plain and simple. They may indeed trade him but will be looking for an all star caliber player in return. Joe harris and two over seas prospects is not a real offer they would consider.

I do want to get the best player possible with the Haywood chip, but the situation has to make sense for both teams

Well for one Griffin has a PHO connection and they are on very good terms with their FO. Two Bledsoe fits Griffin when he said he wanted what was it around 26 year old play makers. The Suns could be desperate to move him if they get word from a top F.A big they are seeking. It could happen if the Suns get desperate as we have a ready deal yeah it sucks for them but the Suns are doing some messed up stuff right now.

Like you and everyone else said another team can come out of no where with a stellar offer and blow us away. I say we have a 20% chance as of now we can get him. It is more realistic than Wade at this point in terms of how simple it could be and the Suns do not have a pat Riley running the show.

It is a stupid idea but we ended up with J.R Smith on our team lol. After that I put nothing past Griffin. Also the Suns basically maxed out Jennings I am not sure you were aware of that but that is stupid. The Suns are I have no idea what they are doing. They paid Jennings before Bledsoe... That says something.

The two situations are very different and you should be smart enough to see that.
Smith had a very shaky career with behavior problems at the age of 29 on a team that wanted to ditch him. Also he is not as a good of a player as Bledsoe.
Listen, I would love for it to happen. But, I see no reason for the Suns to trade him to us, when they could get much better offers. They would get killed by their fans and the media. The GM would get fired. It wont happen.

I am going of an idea of what Keys said and it made sense so I got to pondering. I know the reality of it all but it is a fun idea to ponder. I feel we need a solid back up SF more than a Bledsoe However if in some unspeakable way we end up with Bledsoe I would be a happy fan. That is all I am thinking here.

Yeah we would all be thrilled no doubt. Hell I hope I am dead wrong, but it would just defy logic for them to just salary dump him when he is worth much more around the NBA. It is best to spend time discussing more realistic targets IMO. Again nothing personal, but we would need to be giving them a very good young player in the package which we wont be able to do.

There's media reports saying the Suns may be looking to unload Bledsoe so it may not take a ton to get him. There's a report saying they offered their first rounder plus Bledsoe to the knicks.

Maybe Haywood plus Joe Harris plus a future first rounder would interest them?

Phoenix seems hard to figure right now. I don't really know what their plan is.

It is cool man you bring up good points. It is just what a reward that would be and even the fact we can talk about this is awesome. Gay, Bledsoe, heck even Wade could all be had. I just hope whoever we end up with will not be a waste of the Haywood contract. I really want Mo back and use to find a true back up SF would be my wish.
