I wouldn't be upset with that heading into next season honestly.

 
I really do believe our best option as of NOW regarding Haywood is to get a TPE, their will be more sellers come trade deadline, and it will give us something to talk to Danny Arison about in February.

what team would want to shed salary after the season starts without adding any draft picksor assets.
makes no sense.

That is about all the productions we would need out of Acy guard the three and four in small ball. We have Mo hopeful Smith as our scorers off the bench. I would play T.T at Center though as A.V can stretch the floor with some range. Small ball you go with T,T,Acy,Bron, Shump or Mo (depending), Irving.

Last time we overpaid for Mozgov ( yes it was a good trade for us but an overpay)
Cavs best chance to get a player in mid season season using the MLE is if a team decides to tank mid season.
And yet we still overpaid for Mozgov to a tanking team.

Big FA class up next year and same in next two years as you will see some teams go nuts with the cap rise trying to save space for a super team. The cap rise will for the early future will make cap space more valuable than draft picks.
 
If we bring everyone back from last season and just add Mo and Prince/Butler, it would be a good summer. With our constraints and restriction, that isn't something which usually happens. So, we should be thankful Dan isn't afraid to spend.
 
Acy looks like he would be good for what we need if he can actually play SF and guard SFs.

Did he play the 3 a lot for the knicks??? anyone know??

in his highlights he looked to be playing the 4 a lot

He played some and he is decent at it. Again if he can D up Green or A.I I am all for it. for the Spurs he would D up West and Diaw just fine. From a defensive stand point he fits. However otherwise he does not do much else. He played a lot more three in Sac I think.
