Cavaliers Offseason Thread

I am from Europe, from country that most of people from USA doesn't even know, and i watched every game for 4 years of tanking and i have all rights of this World to call myself as a Cavaliers fan.

Yes i watched games when James played first time, but in those 4 years of rebuilding i realized that i really love the club, organization and state, even people there, no matter that i wasn't there even once in my life.

I challenge/dare everyone who says that i am not Cavs fan bcs i am borned and raised in other place, to wake up every second or third day at 1 am or 3 am and to do no matter what for 3 or 4 hours and to go to school, job or some other place straight from the pc chair (for 4 years of rebuilding and loosing). It's not easy, trust me.

Especially if the only way to watch the game is to keep searching live streams and God is my witness, it was really hard to find the good ones because many of them were slow, low quality etc.

So why someone is better than me just because he lives in Ohio? Maybe if you were in my place, you wouldn't even root for Cavs, maybe not even watch NBA games, or maybe you would root for most succesfull teams in NBA history.

Dude, you sound ridiculous.

I'm from Cleveland, Ohio - as many of us are. But many aren't.

When I root for teams, it's not always because I'm from their state. I rooted for San Antonio as my second team for 4 years, not because they were the best team, but because they played basketball the right way.

I live in Los Angeles - wouldn't root for the Lakers if my life depended on it.

My home is not Cleveland though, it's Hawaii - and always will be. I wouldn't think of ever living in Cleveland again, but, I'm still a Cavs/Browns/Indians fan. My "sentiments" are with the Aloha State, not Ohio; but I'll die a Cavs fan.

You sound like a guy who has not travelled much, or seen much of the world, let alone our own beautiful country. I highly doubt if you had, you'd be so disparaging of others who choose to live elsewhere.

Lastly, for the fans who aren't from Cleveland, they very likely picked the Cavs - for whatever reason - and choose to stick with them.

Anyone who has been with us during the rebuild is a fan in my book - I don't give two shits where they are from.

You on the other hand have only been with us since May; so as far as I'm concerned, you don't have a lot of room to call out others here on this board.
Mr . Arrision that is what we refer to around here as a late night spanking. Welcome to RCF and try to choose your words more carefully next time.

Cleveland Sports Twitter tweeted about the IG account of Verejao. I messaged him the screen shot.. Couldn't help my self, I like conspiracies.

Why Arrision?
didn't understand a word u just said.

He follows Chad Mendes. All Brazilians are into MMA.

Man ,I leave, come back and posters are arguing over.....what?

:conf (8):

...You don't just join here and start acting like you own the place though. He obviously doesn't understand this group and how tight it is.

First mistake, acting like an arrogant asshole.

Now that we all agree, that fans from all lands are loved...

NBA FREE AGENCY ....

This can't be said enough. I lurked here for over a year before registering because this place has a very unique style and culture. You can't get away with much BS and the new rating system is making it even tighter. Sometimes I even catch myself on other sites thinking, "Don't even think about trolling, you'll get Disagreed or Olded to death for that." Then I remember the OBR/Scout BB systems suck.

I lived in two Ohio towns for several years in my youth and was indoctrinated into Indians/Browns/Cavs Nation. Now I'm in NC via VT because that's how life and employment goes. I'm glad this place is accepting of fans from all backgrounds and not just folks in Ohio. We visited Cleveland last summer a week before LeBron came back and I would absolutely love to move back. Just glad I didn't buy a Wiggins jersey from the store ;)

Back on topic...

fans outside of Ohio are not real fans.

Cleveland born and raised, I'm from the East Side - The real "East Side of Cleveland"

E. 79th and Hough
E. 81st and Cedar
E. 89th and Capitol (between Quincy and Woodland)
Addison and St. Clair
E. 84th and Hough

Been down with the team since Brad Daugherty had his own burger at McDonalds

I've been in Houston for 10.5 years now and I fuckin' dare you to say I'm not a real fan.

I've lived in Florida most of my life now. I hardly even remember living in Ohio. I really don't remember winters. I love Florida because I can play golf, for free, everyday of the year. I love Florida because I live five minutes from a quiet, gorgeous, and untouched by construction beach, where I feel I am sinning if I am not sipping something that impairs my judgement. I live in fucking paradise.
Having said that, I will never, under any circumstance, root for a team unless they represent my home, which is, always has been, and always will be Cleveland, Ohio. Fact.
Now that I've said that, I forgot what the fuck I was typing this for. I made some fuckin donuts, and now Imma get supa baked and eats them, bitches.
Mo fucking Williams! Still stoked bout it
