Cavs inquired on Love, Aldridge and Gasols?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
exactly. who cares about winning a title anyway?!

61 rosters have won the NBA Title without LeBron. We have a good chance without him if we keep adding quality players..

It really would be very sweet if we win a ship without James.

good chance? lol no. not even close. a tiny number of teams actually have a good chance of winning the title. the cavs are extremely, extremely far from being included in that group.

the cavs best chance of winning a title anytime soon is by adding lebron in 2014.

if the thunder dont call about andy after that heat game, they're crazy

porkins is garbage

Let's keep the LeBron talk in his thread.

Discuss anything related to this topic, but LeBron has his own thread for a reason.

Cavs freak out to get enough talent to surround a potential LeBron signing, LeBron signs elsewhere, we are stuck with old vets on bad contracts.

Sounds great....

Negativity can easily be offset by positivity. If you say we'll never get love and mayo, then I say we'll never sign old vets to bad contracts, since this is all hypothetical

Then you should probably merge this with his thread seeing as OP, you know, involves LeBron. I find it amazing how all talk regarding the best player in the NBA must strictly be kept in one thread.

At first glance, given that Lloyd is the source, the piece seems to be some sort of exercise by the Cavs. At worst, it is a PR balloon to show the fans that they have an active and ambitious front office, shooting for the stars and leaving no stone unturned. Throwing some big names out there just when the team's horrible performance threatens to turn a lot of people off... That's a pretty old play. Keep interest up, keep the message board buzzing, give people something to talk about and look forward to...

This was exactly my reaction. Fans are restless so time to crank up the rumor mill. But the bit about LeBron was interesting. This is the first time I have seen a report that the Cavs will definitely go after him. There has been talk about LeBron being interested in coming back to Cleveland, but so far the Cavs have been quite. The article read like an open letter to LeBron and his crew.

I don't see any way the Cavs could trade for Love and not do one of two things:

(A) Include Kyrie

OR

(B) Blow up the roster and include picks

I wouldn't even consider choice A. I'd be more apt to do choice B, but the problem is...Kevin Love has simply not proven to be a winner. If he was this dominant force that played great team ball and took over down the stretch, I'd consider.

But giving up not only Andy AND your last two picks AND future 1st's seems like an awful idea...even if Love is great for fantasy basketball.
