With how the NBA is treating floor spacing and the Power Forward position lately, I'm actually not worried much about his weight. The PFs of yesteryear are mostly centers now. Your not banging against Oakley, Malone, Dale Davis types on a nightly basis these days.

You have a point. But I would still like for him to be a more menacing force in the paint, rather than just a stretch 4. Precicely because the PFs of today are weaker, him being stronger will give him another weapon.

Love did a very good job in the playoffs of leveraging his skinny frame into agility on the defense end. Hopefully he does that from the outset this season, and doesn't spend 3/4 of it as a defensive sieve.

They all look to have a fire in their eyes. Glad to hear they will be playing with that anger and passion. This won't be a regular season that we just go through the motions. If healthy, I expect the best record in the league.

I hope they're all angry..heard KI's comments..I don't want to see them smiling at their opponent until that championship trophy is in their locker room.

I think he will win his 5th MVP this year. Its no secret he is pissed that he didnt get more MVP votes last season. I bet my ass off he will want to remind the world that he is still clearly the best in the world.

And i think the chances are better. he seems healthy,focused,driven,angry.. The first month or so without Kyrie will help boost his Numbers early on but overall due to minute watching later in the season he wont have the greatest year by his standards pure stats wise but people will realise he has not declined overall(sure a bit athletic decline is there^^)..and his numbers are only "down" because of fewer minutes.

I expect something like 25.8ppg 6.6rpg 8.2apg on 53fg 36%3pt in around 35mpg

and with the Cavs winning 60-66 Games and taking propably even the best record in the NBA i see him getting his 5th MVP

I am curious what he has worked on this summer. With Lebron you never know^^

Its so damn funny..over at realgm people are assuming Lebron wont age well because they still believe he only relies on his athletism^^
Lebron already has such a strong arsenal that will allow him to age very well.
And its clear Lebron is aware that he needs to add more "age friendly" weapons to his arseanal. I have no doubt he will continue to finetune his game

Me too. This is going to be the year for both the Cavs and Cleveland to finally get the Chip monkey off their backs.

Cavs schedule certainly sets up for a push for the best record.

They don't really get in to the meat of it until mid December. By that time, Love should be 100%, as should Kyrie and the team should be on all cylinders.

The 20 games in between opening week and that late December stretch is incredibly soft. Half are against absolute dog shit teams. The toughest game is Atlanta, who they get at home (after a rest day). They don't play any of the top 4-5 western conference teams during that stretch and the only other western playoff team they play (Pelicans) is on two days rest coming off of a two game home stand.
