Delly had an ugly game today.

The positives: He led the game in assists (For both teams) and steals (2 steals).

His stat line looked a lot better than Dante Exum. Jazz fans will probably pooped a bit when they see Exum's box score. Makes me happy that the Cavs have Love.

Fun fact: Exum was tied for 2nd lowest +/- out of all players (-9).

Like Zeus said Gorgui Dieng had 21 points. I'm pretty sure it would be easy for Gasol to score 33 against IRAN! give me a break. I don't think people called him washed up. They just said he is 34 and on the downward side of his career.

Didn't see the game but at least Delly's +/- was the highest on the team so there's that at least. Hope he bounces back next game.

Just to nitpick, Aron Baynes tied Delly in +/-

To nitpick the nitpick, FIBA's box score lists both Delly and Baynes as -2 in 29 minutes apiece, while guard Brad Newley managed a -1 in 25 minutes. But that's neither here nor there. Delly, bring your A game next time so we can stop this pedantry!

Delly is having a fantastic game against Korea (watching live now). His ball handling looks much improved, and his passing and ability to run the offense is really looking good.

Of course I'm still most impressed by the tenacious defense and overall BBIQ he consistently shows.

I know the competition is bad but Delly looks like he's been working on his game and his body knowing he will be leading the 2nd unit for the cavs.

PS Exum looks terrible. Dribbles the air out of the ball, refuses to pass and eventually turns it over. Utah will need to be very patient with him.

EDIT: Exum looked a lot better in the 2nd half after he calmed down a bit.

I am really confident in Delly. He just looks so mature out there. I am really glad he worked on his handles this offseason. He knew it was a weakness of his. I hope when they say they need a pg, Griff means a backup for Delly.

He had 4 points (66.7% from the field), 6 rebounds, 1 block and a +/- of 21 in 17 minutes.

He had 13 points (56% from the field), 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and a +/- of 25 in 24 minutes.

Rose, in comparison, had 2 points (0/4 from the field), 2 rebounds, 0 assists, 2 turnovers and a +/- of -2 in 17 minutes
