Cavs sign PG Ben Uzoh to 10 day contract

Cant believe no one has caught the fact that Uzoh current per is 31.69. His per 36 minutes are 15 pts, 15 assists and 22 rebs.

Forget Kyrie, lets start Uzoh.

Scott picked on newly signed point guard Ben Uzoh during the film session Monday for getting three shots up in his first 14 seconds on the court Saturday night, but has otherwise been impressed with his ability to pick up the Cavs’ system.

While his playbook is condensed, Scott said, Uzoh already knows what he has been given much better than four or five Cavs players who have been with the team all season.

“It’s either that he is very, very smart or we’ve got four guys that are very, very dumb,” Scott said. “It’s one of the two or a combination of both.”

I'm not a betting man. If I was I wouldn't take that bet since I don't know anything about him. I just haven't been impressed with D-League call ups except with the very few exceptions. I hope you're right.

Ya, ummm...was gonna stay outta this one, but my gawd....really??? This is beyond bush league. Does anyone actually get cut during a 10 day contract? Wow. Just....wow. Shows the type of man you are to go this route. Character? Ownership? Man up much?
If you got any kind of shame, pride, humility, etc. you poney up and do the right thing here. Looking for technicalities and loopholes when it's painfully obvious what the deal is, is just too politician for me. Yellow. Just my two cents.

Here's a little factoid I learned in the past year that should apply in this situation:

Legally when a contract term is considered confusing/obtuse the benefit of the doubt is granted to the side that agreed to the contract, not the side that wrote it.
