Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
$105 is extreme value for the magnitude of the home opener...there are probably millions of people who want to go to that game

The past 10 + years the Cavs have had tickets for single games etc in lower bowl sections for almost every game with Lebron here or not being able to purchase tickets through the lottery is wonderful because it gives you a chance but if all they have is loudville seats I think they should change the name of the lottery process because its giving fans hope that they will generally be able to by tickets in close to the section of their choice. Its all great but also once you win the lottery you can only buy tickets for one game that month also and aren't eligible again for the next two months.
I don't see anywhere in the lottery explanation that gave any hope or insinuation that you'd be able to buy tickets in your preferred section. Being able to buy tickets for any game at face value, this year, with how high the demand is, is basically the equivalent of winning the lottery. So I think they're doing it perfectly.

I won the lottery and received my email at 8:34am.

Sad thing is, my buddy works with Bizdom and received a pre-sale code to purchase tickets last weekend before the lottery and he wasn't able to get any tickets to the opener. I am hoping that I'll be able to snag seats, but not getting my hopes up for the opener. Hey, there's always the Spurs or the sub-par backcourt of the Wizards!

Don't lose hope. They are holding a certain block of tickets for the opener for every presale. There will most definitely be tickets available for the opener for the lottery, 100%.

If I can't get Opener tickets, I may just hold off and wait until December. If you are selected and don't buy tickets, you are automatically for the next month.

I don't think the Cavs owe the fans anything when it comes to the lottery and type of tickets available. The fact they are giving everyone a fair chance to buy tickets is great and should be enough. While I do think there will be some lower bowl seats available, I am sure they would try to take care of the partial season ticket holders first.

I wonder if they will have rules on selling the tickets if you win the lottery. To me the biggest shame would allow those who entered the lottery to profit off winning it.

Yeah...read that wrong. Hopefully I get opener tix and it won't matter. Wish they'd release promo schedule so I knew if there were a bobblehead game in November.

I just hope everything runs smoothly the Cavs have kind of struggled up to this point with tickets this offseason as far as distribution and emails etc. Hopefully they realize that at noon everybody will be aiming to get the season opener tickets if available .
