Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am a season ticket holder and went to the first two preseason games and just noticed last night I had $12 preloaded on each ticket for concessions. Is this standard for season ticket holders? Also I was never informed that this would happen so hopefully it wasn't done in error! It was on the bottom left of my ticket right above the bar code.
$12?
As a season ticket holder this year one of our benefits was each seat is preloaded with $5 for food, beer,or merchandise........not sure how you were preloaded with $12 on one ticket unless they do that for the really expensive seats

My ticket rep said it was done in error and would be removed immediately. Oh well, so much for being honest.

The tickets that are under $200 are in a super crappy section. I've sat up there for games where the tickets were free and it's pretty bad. If it were me I'd be willing to pay a little more to have a better angle.

Are you saying that just because they are in the last 5 rows of the arena?

Well there's that but the sections that face the hoops, like 232, are further away from the court and you are staring at the back of the hoop for half of the game. Combine that with the fact that since you are so far away that the players are pretty tiny it's just not as great as you'd think. If I had no other option I'd probably do it but having sat there before I'd almost consider just watching it at home for the price.

Is each seat getting $5 per game? How do we redeem it? Paper tickets that we get after entering? Wish I would have know this last night!

I see your point. I chose row 6 behind the hoop over row 15 midcourt but I didn't factor the extra distance behind the hoop. Hopefully I made the right choice.

Someone sold opener seats for $31 each on Flashseats, never thought I would see that regardless of section! An anamoly I'm sure but prices are definitely trending downward.

Ha that's awesome, much respect to whoever sold those. They almost deserve court side seats for their act of kindness.

That was an act of kindness, maybe they were "paying it forward".

Anybody know if there are any alerts via text or email, etc. to alert of any new flash seats listings once they are listed?

Nope there's not. Huge advantage to all the 8-5 people sitting in a cube all day.

Yes....on the ticket there is a bar code and they scan it and it takes 5 bucks off your order with each ticket
