Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finally got my tickets sent to flash seats. Anyone know how you can see the face value of the tickets for each game? I'm gonna sell a few of mine but don't wanna charge above face value.

can you post on here when you put them up and what games they are so one of us on the board can buy them?

anyone have any idea how to get reasonably priced tickets to opening night? I haven't missed opening night in a decade, but find myself without tickets this year. The prices on flash seats are ridiculous.

My guess is nowhere. :(

By the way, I've got two seats for Sunday's sold out preseason game if anyone is interested. Just looking for around face value.

PM me if you're interested

I'm an Indians season ticket holder and I'll trade my Indians 2014 postseason tickets for Cavs tickets :chuckle:

The only way you are going to get reasonably priced tix for the opener is if you steal them or have embarrassing pictures of people who already have them. No way in hell are those tickets not going for 10 times or more their face value unfortunately. I'm with you. I havent missed a Cavs opener since the early 2000's and it absolutely pains me that Im probably going to miss this one because the prices are so high. Just have to save some coin for the finals that's all ;)

I hear you man. Prices are crazy but demand is at an all time high, especially for the home opener. There's plenty of people that want to make a bit of money by selling their seats, and thousands that are willing to buy them and driving those prices way up. I've set a bit of money aside to buy some - the prices are rough but I'm going to see what I can do, have a couple bids in place already.

Maybe you get lucky and get some seats via the lottery, which would be amazing. Otherwise, it's really just a question of how much you're willing to spend. I'm pretty sure if I end up going my wife will damn near divorce me when she sees how much I spend.

I agree its going to be hard to find tickets for the home opener but how realistic are these resellers thinking they will get $5,000 for a 100 level ticket. I mean I know demand is at an all time high but sheesh.

Some are no doubt delusional. You want to see even worse, go over to StubHub where even nosebleeds are going over $1,000. My guess is those are people who have every intention of going to the game, but if they receive some absolutely absurd offer they'll give them up and laugh all the way to bank.

So, cheapest so far for home opener tickets on Flashseats was $175 per ticket. Then it sky rockets to $260.

This is what I found in a Q and A on Flashseats:

"
Is there a fee to sell seats on Flash Seats’ system?
Yes. To sell tickets to events there is a 10% fee, based on the purchase price, plus $1.50 per ticket charged to sellers when they sell seats."

If you are a season ticket holder there is no fee if you sell your own tickets

There is a fee as stated above. It is not free if you are a season ticket holder.
