Ellington is supposed to be a shooter off the bench but is not your clutch shooter. Take away that early game he hit 7 treys against MIA, and he's sub-40%. He seems like he'll be like Wes Person was for us later on- meh.

Speights didn't have the best reputation as being a coachable player in Philly, but seems to have gotten it in MEM. It'll be good to have some size up front to help TT & Tyler.

Seems like a toss-up trade except for the picks, and for that I commend Mr. Grant for doing his home work early and knowing what he wants, and not waiting until the dominos start to fall 36 hrs before the TD.

Speights had the option to block the trade.. but has opted against exercising it.

What happens if the pick falls into that protected zone? Does it go on to 2016? I know these are questions you probably don't have the answer to yet, but I am certainly paying attention.

Wow...that would be awesome...

Steve Kyler is a good basketball mind- not everything he says is gospel but he does a lot of thinking/interpreting out loud on his feed before mainstream media gets it.
