Well, in Dion's defense, Kyrie was kind of a prick last year.
I wouldn't be surprised if he sort of step on LeBron's toes this season as well. He's still a young player.
Even LeBron who was far more advanced at the same age as Kyrie is did a lot of immature things as well, but Kyrie is getting a chance to play with a proven championship winner who's in his prime, LeBron never had that opportunity in his first 8 seasons playing for the Cavs. He had to grew on his own and made some questionable decisions.
Kyrie has bit of an inflated ego, but there's nothing wrong with that if you can back it up and lead your team the right way, but when you haven't done anything of significant in the league as far as leading your team the right way, winning games, making the playoffs, etc, you have to take a step back and understand/analyze the game better and develop better chemistry with your teammates.
The good news is that he says he's ready to play better and runs more plays for his teammates than he ever did in his last three seasons in the league, he's also playing for a competent head coach and playing with two greater teammates than himself for the first time, but the bad news is action speaks louder than words, and people says things that they want others to hear all the time, but it doesn't mean that they're going to do what they say.
He's still going to overdribbles the ball for 8+ seconds, take low quality ISO shots, miscommunication with his teammates and playing James Harden level of defense.
