Cavs Training Camp (roster down to 15)

I don't know if any are NBA contracts, but if Stephen Wright joins the team, it would almost certainly have to be a summer contract if he's still got obligations in Europe. Summer contracts don't last past preseason and don't count against the cap or tax.

The Cavs signed Chris Crawford and Shane Edwards to contracts Sunday to give the Cavs a couple of extra bodies for training camp. Guard Stephen Wright, who played at St. Mary with Matthew Dellavedova, is expected to join the team as well after he receives a clearance letter from his German team.

Crawford was released last week for cap purposes so the Cavs could acquire Keith Bogans. He was re-signed after clearing waivers. Edwards played most of last season with the Canton Charge, although he made a brief appearance with the Cavs.

At least Marion makes 35% of his 3pointers which is a league avarage and i like it's quickness as a shot cuz most defenders couldn't even show their hand on his shot.

This is the definition of small and meaningless but... I love how the Cavs add new players to the roster page on their website and have them IN jersey. Didn't have Love right away, but they fixed it and now it looks cool. A bunch are photoshop jobs - but it is cool. Literally the ONLY team in the NBA to have their whole roster in their jersey. Chicago has everyone but the rookies.

Just think it is nice attention to detail.
