LeBron is now a de facto coach, GM, best player...I have never seen an athlete in any sport have this much level of control over an organization from top to bottom.
The interesting thing is the first time LeBron was here, he was almost coach-less during gametime. Because he did whatever he wanted on the court when it came to offense, everyone just adapted to him. But now he's actually leading other players in practices in a way he never did (or could) the first time.I think the exact same things were said about Jordan, in terms of how he challenged and drove players in practice and was an extension of the coaching staff. When it came to personnel, Reinsdorf did it his way though and didn't take to much of Jordan's input.
Sorry but what does he mean by that?
