Cavs vs Maccabi Tel Aviv - Sunday, Oct. 5, 6:00pm (FSO and NBA TV)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
12/4/4 from a LeBron who plays at ~40% right now?
Not bad either.

Hi from Israel. Very late here, 2:14am.
Dunno if I'll be able to watch the rest of the game, but here are my thoughts till now -
In offense the Cavs are a bit over thinking it, well it is still first game. I think the most fluid minutes on offense where when Miller was on court and Delly the PG. I'm talking team offense and not individual skills offense.
Defensively wise, not a good game by the Cavs. Maccabi I guess are excited playing against those stars and they missed lots of easy unguarded situations . The one who I felt gave the most effort is Love.

I'm sitting in loudville and it ain't that bad. The fact no railing like at the ACC in Toronto is a bit weird and dangerous but everything else is great

Rebound margin of +17, only shooting 44% but still having 58 points at the half...
Yeah, I'll take that.

i pictured the girl in your sig saying "yeah, ill take that" with the wink after.. it works out pretty well lol

16 assists on 21 made field goals.
Every player who has been in the game so far has scored.
Love with 7 and 7, Tristan with 8 and 8.
LeBron and Kyrie both in double figures, with LeBron having a typical game with 12/4/4.

For all the rust/unfamiliarity/lack of game experience, they're still looking pretty decent. Lots of work to be done, but they are looking good.

yeah well we'll get swept by the bulls so fuck it

shut it down

Yeah I saw Haywood just not even rotate on defense on two different occasions. Both resulted in clean shots at the rim.

IMO, 20mins for him would be too much, 10-15 at most.

Haywood wasn't even expected to be playing at this point. He is obviously very rusty and trying to play himself into shape. He basically hasn't played in over a year and a half. We shouldn't be reading too much into what he is doing on the court at this point other then the fact he looks healthy, and has his weight down. Anything we can get out of him this year is a bonus. I would think it would be more appropriate to truly start judging him at least a couple of months from now. For a 10 million dollar non-guaranteed contract, I am happy to have him.

Kevin Love looks shorter than James Jones. Not that it matters, was just interesting to see.

Already noticing the excuses for Waiters
