Channing Frye

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not sure if either of the Lakers we brought back possess the value that this guy does, on and off the court.

I'm overall pleased with the work the Cavs F.O. put in today but losing Frye doesn't sit well with me at all, especially with the Raptors playing the way they are.

But I'm with the majority here, one of my favorite players the past few seasons. I still remember Game 3 of the Hawks series when they were playing us chippy on their floor after getting embarrassed on ours. Frye was a flame-thrower that game and was one of the biggest reasons we prevailed.

Thank you so much Channing for everything you contributed to the Cavs organization the past couple years. Hopefully this isn't "goodbye", it's see you later.

P.S. Sorry that "Ain't Got A Clue Lue" never understood the extent of your abilities.

P.P.S. If you sign with the Warriors I'll murder you.

I wish him well. And want him back.

His number should be retired.

We love you, Channing.

I think we're all in agreement that losing Channing yesterday was the worst part of the day and really the only true negative (I'm one who doesn't think losing our 1st was a big deal since it's going to be 25-30 range and we still have the BKN pick).

Great guy, great veteran, great leader. Funny personality, I will miss him and his jokes. Wish the guy nothing but the best and would LOVE to see him back in Cleveland before he retires.

Both LeBron and Altman made it a point to single out Channing today/yesterday and say how his loss will be felt by the organization. It seems like he has tremendous respect from everyone.

Sad to see him leave. Remember his first or second game when he threw the punch at jazz player lol.

Yeah Channing was the worst part. He was a guy who could come in and just turn things around. Great leader keeping people loose.

I have been thinking over the whole 1st thing. Seems to me the first should have been included in the Utah trade instead, so I won't complain. It was also the price for keeping Cedi. I don't think it was easy keeping him out of these deals. so, I would gladly trade the 22nd pick in the draft for him.

As would I.... and I definitely agree, not including a pick in the UTA/SAC trade was surprising. We undeniably got the 2 best players in the trade, traded away garbage, and didn't have to pay up with picks.

So even if we hate the 1st in the trade to the Lakers we clearly won the other trade so it evens out.

I mean supposedly Hood was wanted around the league. He had real talent. Great high release almost like Durant and great size at the 2. I am really surprised they couldn't get a first for him. Heard that Sac was pissed about losing out on Frye's expiring, but we flipped it and got them Joe Johnson. Amazing that Utah is so cheap they wouldn't take a flier on Hood who we should have good leverage on with RFA. He is going to be cheaper than he should be in this market. Unless he helps us win the chip and then he is gone lol. That's the only thing I don't like. Hood will only be affordable if we don't succeed,

I was thinking that I maybe don't want him going to the Thunder?
