Chris Fedor Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You guys are confused, it was Joe Vardon who asked Blatt that question.

I have noticed that Vardon publicly gathers his thoughts when he asks questions and people are very put off by it.

He did that shit again, and then asked Blatt basically "you still have 2/3 stars, why can't you win?" and it was the last question they were allowing before shutting it down.

When Blatt was looking at Vardon, and how he delivers his question, Dave was basically trying to duck out of that answer altogether.

Nobody wants the last question to be a fucking hardball question, the mental resources are spent; especially after a disappointing loss.

Is the coach going to know right then and there? He didn't get a chance to watch the film and learn why we dismantled.

By prefacing it like that, I think he offended Blatt right from the get go. Vardon, Haynes and Fedor are all trolls.

Topic is in reference to this...

He sticks out like a sore thumb to me. So much so you have to consider that he had an in for the job... relative of someone.

I wonder how Fedor feels about LeBron being at the championship game....

Blatt needs to take lessons from Bill Belichek on how to hold post game press conference.
"On To Cincinnati" - loop !!!

This is the same guy who confidently predicted the Cavs would win 70 games this year. He's not very bright.

He's just a straight up amateur, even by modern age "digital/social media as media" standards. I've felt this way since Day 1, whether he was saying good things or bad things about the Cavs. He makes NEOMG/Plain Dealer look bad.

Howard Beck, Tom Haberstroh and Sam Amick, I think a couple others too, were clowning "NEOMG" hard the other day. Wish I could find the tweets.

Fedor and Vardon have yet to prove to me that they are anymore than Cleveland TMZ. And I like Haynes but he feels so close to Klutch that sometimes his stories feel more like PR than reporting.

Lloyd doin work this year though. McMenamin has really come into his own on this beat too.

Lloyd visited a class I was taking a couple years ago. He was really kind to share about his work and stressed the importance of ethical journalism. Like others have said, it seems careless for Fedor to tweet what he did, especially without asking for clarification. This kind of thing could alienate him among team contacts and prevent him from landing info of merit.

Fedor has an unearned arrogance about him b/c he's been on the radio. When he was on 'KNR he was smug and condecending to the callers and was unable to sustain a conversation w/ callers who clearly knew more than he. He'd hang up on them and continue with his opinion as winning that conversation. When he speaks he has the same cadence and delivery as Jim Lampley. As big of a douche as Lampley is, he at least earned his arrogance.

92.3 has Fedor as it's Cavs beat reporter who brings nothing to the table that isnt already out on the internet. He has no contacts within the organization and provides 0 insight. I know don't if he feels that since he worked with Rizzo and is a part of NEOMG that people will automatically feed him info

I'm still trying to figure out why this team needs 3 beat reporters from the local paper. Is there really that much going on with one team that you need to here a constant 3 man investigation team to get all the relevant info? I think these two are what you get when a situation is oversaturated and you have guys fighting for scraps of information, essentially.

I've always wondered if players/reporters read this forum.

I am sure reporters do but not players if they are smart. They should usually avoid places like this as it could add a distraction to them. However I am sure players have and do and the tough ones just blow off the hate and or rumors.
