Let's talk about the fact that if Chuck Jumpers didn't play tonight, we would have lost by like 25 points.

Lets take him for what he is and never overeact either way of the debate. Hes a volume shooter on the wrong side on inconsistent. Lets just be happy at his 2-3 amazing games a month and realize that alot of guys on the team cant even do THAT

The worst part is that he is pretty good at slashing and finishing. Is he just lazy, or just way overconfident in his shot? His ballhandling is probably 3rd or 4th on the team, and he is fast with the ball. It is really maddening, because he seems to have really good scoring ability. If he had a smarter head I would say he could be a star.

A star is stretching it...but if he played with his head on straight he definitely could as effective, if not more effective than Ellington (and that's not meant to be a shot at Wayne). Miles has potential. Hopefully next year he's not allowed to jack shots at will.

I think you guys are selling CJ short. He is useful as a long, back up shooting guard. If you expected more from him, then that is on you. He has earned his limited paycheck in any case and we are no worse off for having signed him..

I'm neither pro- nor anti-Miles -- he is what he is -- but for those who like PER, it's worth noting that his PER is now over 15 (at 15.06), before the Wizards game tonight.

CJ Miles has certainly played better than I expected. I just can't trust it. His 3-point shooting is so far above his career average, and he's been in the league quite a while, that I have to imagine its a DeShawn Stevenson type of spike and instead of being reality, it's just a season long mirage.

CJ Miles has certainly played better than I expected. I just can't trust it. His 3-point shooting is so far above his career average, and he's been in the league quite a while, that I have to imagine its a DeShawn Stevenson type of spike and instead of being reality, it's just a season long mirage.

it has everything to do with role and fit. Since Ellington and livingston arrived, I think CJ gets better matchups. He has a sweet three when he is shooting over smaller players, and he gets those more often on this squad.

In the past 10 games, he has been scoring 13 ppg with almost 50 FG% in 20 minutes.

That is pretty impressive.

Miles has shot much better since Livingston came aboard. Amazing what a point guard can do for your offense.

But he played with Deron Williams for the better part of his career. That's why I can't just ignore the entire rest of his career.

I see.l miles is attempting 5 threes a game. He's got sample size and efficiency. It's hard to ignore that. I think he's becoming a better shooter. Whether he gets lazy in the off season is the question. Have to keep working on it or you lose it.

It's gotten to the point where I don't scream "FUCK YOU" every time he shoots, so that's good. But I don't wanna get my hopes up too much.. last time I did with Chuck Jumpers he was a huge disappointment.

I'm sorry Miles haters but this dude has singlehandedly brought us back in numerous games, once the kid gets on a roll he doesn't stop. A lot more than you can say than a lot of back up guards
