BTW: They talked about Trevor Crowe like he's some important piece for next year and how he couldn't play this year. I don't know about anyone else, but sorry Trev, I don't think you make the 25 man roster next year completely healthy.

Carrera had some rough moments this year defensively, but he has been an excellent defender in the minors and I have to believe he will iron out the kinks in time. Crowe on the other hand is average at the very best. Carrera is a better longterm option for the 4th OFer spot b/c he is a better defender. Crowe has more pop in his bat, but not much more and it hasn't shown up in his stint in the bigleagues yet.

You made a post last night that stated in your all knowing way that we would not make a trade because we used all our assets on Ubaldo.

Another member posted we would make a trade. I posted the same thing and listed a few assets we do have. There are more. LOTS more. Any player is an asset. It depends what player we are trying to acquire.

Instead of quoting my entire post and making your argument as to why we don't have any assets at all, you instead quoted "just" the player list and left out everything else.

You then didn't even make an argument. You simply used the chuckles smilie to ridicule me like you do with most everyone in here. Like this: :chuckles:

I'm tired of it. If you cannot debate and argue without talking down to everyone in here who you don't agree with, then why do we have these threads at all?

If you think you know it all, and will remind every member about it with each post we all make, no matter if you think we are right or wrong, then fuck you.

I say we WILL make a trade this off season. You say we will NOT make a trade. How about we simply disagree with each other and move on? I didn't say we can't make any trades because of Ubaldo, I didn't even come close to saying that.

I never said the batting order doesn't matter, I said predicting a win or a loss because of the batting order is the height of stupidity.

They dealt their two biggest chips for Jimenez. And you're looking at more of a second tier players with the current chips.

I'm not sure how anyone can devise that I don't think they can make a trade from this statement. But your list of players headlined by Matt LaPorta, Cord Phelps, Zach McAllister, David Huff and some guy you made up named Hoffman is not going to net us anything within the realm of Ubaldo Jimenez or any other top tier player.

Hafner, Carmona and Sizemore are all untradeable because of their value at this current stage. I'm not really sure who you're kidding thinking the bats the Indians could get in return are any better than Hafner or Sizemore when their value stabilizes next year (God willing).

So like I said, your list of B-level players, busted prospects and large contracts might work in fantasy world....but you're kidding yourself if you think anyone of those guys is going to net the Indians a top flight bat. You're going to be left settling for a B-level player with that list.

EVERY damn player we have is tradeable. Well, most of them. Are you telling me Chris Perez is untradeable? How about Sipp or Smith? How about Tomlin?
