Cleveland Indians End of Season Game Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
"Christmas In July" scoffs at this lame St. Patty's Day tribute.

WOOO!!!!

WE'RE BAAAAACK!!! BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!!!

The Jizz is in SESSION.

Oh wait, forgot, season is over.

:chuckles:

Still, I'm excited for both Kipnis and Chisenhall. Kipnis might be a better player right now but Chisenhall was the better overall prospect iirc. They could both be pretty good!

Kipnis is the better player and has more potential.

Chis was the better prospect I am pretty sure. You're too caught up in what the players are doing right now. (even then Kipnis hasn't been THAT much better)

Hes been a good amount better. And he plays 2b while Chiz plays a power position. So if they produce similar offensively, Kipnis is alot more valuable.

Trying to judge players on their first couple months in the big leagues? Interesting.

I'll say for a third time: Chisenhall was the higher rated prospect. He's two years younger than Kipnis. Yack about who is "more valuable" at whatever position, it matters not, because Lonnie is the better hitting prospect. Both are showing that they may be pretty good ML players, but they have had so few ABs that for you to jump to any conclusions as if you can peg their careers right now as they are is insanity.

And Kipnis getting off to a hot start tells you they will produce similar offensively down the road? Chisenhall is 3 years younger so this isn't a shock that Kipnis is out playing him to start his career. Kipnis is more polished at this point, but Chisenhall has more upside.

Chisenhall is only 1.5 years younger than Kipnis.

Kipnis was born in April of 87 and Chisenhall was born in October of 88. They are a lot closer in age than people expect. Chisenhall has better physical gifts and looks like he'll be able to add muscle to his frame whereas Kipnis appears to be maxed out in terms of his body, but they aren't too far apart in age whatsoever.
