Kind of bummed. I don't know why, but always been a Carmona fan. I feel like a battered wife that sticks with him hoping for 07 Carmona to come around again. Instead I continue to be mentally beat down by 08-current Carmona

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled when they picked up his option, but I understand why they did. He was awesome in 07 as we all know, but ever since he's been a headcase. Now that we find out he's really 31 years old, I think the odds of him turning it around are lower than if he were actually 28 as advertised.

I also have visions of him getting fatter and fatter in the DR waiting for a legal resolution and then coming back out of shape and needing to start his spring training in July or August. No thanks.

Since most of the news involves injuries or poor play (I'm looking at your, pitching staff and LaPorta), I think the most entertaining part of camp so far has been Acta trying to insert as many of the OF options into the daily lineup as possible. Fitting Duncan, Canzler, Spillborghs, Cunningham, Carrera and Donald in one lineup is impressive.
