Young Bull likes to do things so hard that he is hitting the rookie wall so hard now and looking more like Young BS out there...

Empty stats tonight. They were embarrassed and the final lines are misleading. NOBODY played well tonight.....most players looked like they don't belong in this league.

lets just wait, sexton will surely learn.....

Agree it was a empty stat line for him tonight. He does look like he is trying to be a real point guard now not just a scoring PG. He is trying to penetrate the defense and looking to make plays for other players. Guys just don't seem to be knocking down shots when he creates for them or they just doesn't move the ball when he penetrate and the defense collapses. Burks and Hood are just such ball stoppers that if the defense collapses on Sexton, the defense is able to reset by time Burks or Hood do anything.

It is just so difficult to try and evaluate and talent on this team. I don't believe that Cedi is as bad as he has looked along with Sexton. It just feels like a complete wasted year with regard to trying to develop the kids. The blame starts from the top (front office) down thru the coaching (lack of coaching) and the players.

Agree. I'm still holding out hope that Koby will make some major changes at the deadline to help bring in players that will allow Cedi, Sexton, and Zizic to develop better.

It's weird how the coaching staff seem to have unlimited confidence in whatever Hood, Burks, and Clarkson do. If they just held those guys to some accountability, maybe they could run some sort of a functional offense.

He attacked and got thrown in his ass a few times. Should have gotten to the line more .

He needs someone to space him out. Be can't get to the rim with 0 shooting

He is just bad.

If he improves in the next season and beyond, then great. That would be a testimonal for his work ethic and maturation. But he is a very bad player right now on both ends. He is the PG and he should control the game. His IQ and feel leave a lot to be desired. You can't run an offense like that.

My other issue is that he is a 1 positional offensive and defensive player. Unlike SGA who can play 1-3. That means that it also limits our ability to draft BPA in future drafts if the player is a PG.

How about JR Smith? He's the leading expert on spacing out.

My issue going forward with Sexton isn't that he won't become a servicable player but seems like he will never be a game changer...someone that affects the game in a big way...he'll just be sort of out on the floor. He is a rookie and an 8th pick and none of the players picked around him this draft are earth shakers so its not like the Cavs passed up on a great player and instead picked Sexton...

I wonder what he would have looked like if love was healthy all year and jr wasn’t a dick. Kid is playing more mins than he should for his age. Not giving up on him

this is where I am now. I'm sad that he appears not to be trending down that path. and the team is pretty bad now, to boot.
and it makes me even mad that Kyrie was traded where... would we really be better off now, if LeBron still left and he missed last season?

Zizic is looking similarly a disappointment. I have little hope he will do what Zubac has done to be rotation-worthy at this point.

So this could be looking like another Celtics fleecing.

Screw Bill Simmons, btw

Double screw losing to the Nets

I think in a game where literally every player was bad and could not hit a shot, Sexton is getting a little too much hate. He attacked the rack and wasnt getting calls. He got beat up at the rim and kept coming.

He doesn't have one teammate that can shoot the ball and open the floor for him. Even LeBron had Z. Channing was missing wide right.

Everyone knows playing in Utah is a trap game like Denver with the thin air. I can't walk up stairs there without huffing and puffing. We expect Sexton to play great there his first time.
