I've never gotten the sense that Cedi doesn't like Sexton. I think Nance and Clarkson don't like him but I think that is an infection that JR started and team hasn't been able to get rid of completely yet.

Love, Delly, and Frye seem to like Sexton. Knight also seems to want to help mentor him. I think the older guys see the potential of Sexton and want to help him develop. Maybe Nance, Clarkson, and possibly Cedi see him more as competition for touches and being the man on this team.

I actually think Cedi has an expanded role as a ball handler since Sexton hasn't developed his vision yet. I think Cedi knows that too. Cedi and Sexton's role have expanded since we moved Burks and Hood.

Delly obviously has spent a lot of time working with Sexton and T.T. was playing well with him before T.T. went out. Haven't seen anything one way or the other with Love but Cedi seems to be freezing him out the last few games.

I don't see many reasons to not like Sexton. He's in the top three most valuable players we have, all things considered. He's young still, but improving before our eyes, and trying to get better all the time. What are these other guys doing?
Sexton had a bunch of turnovers a couple games back, then next game zero I believe. And with his poor defense, well can't fix it all at once.
These other guys need to embrace him as a teammate, screw all that dumb shit.

TT had issues with Sexton to start the season but has seemed to come around.
Nance I think is the issue now. Lucky Sexton has confidence in himself because there have been moments this year where a less confident rookie could have been demoralised by Nance's behaviour and attitude towards him.

Just causes unecessary anxiety, I actually feel horrible for what he had to put up with, albeit just from what I've seen on screen.

Bet his penis gets direct hit with toilet water when he flushes after poops.

Nance seems like he might be a lowkey asshole. There was this incident last year where he was caught on video declining to sign an autograph for a kid. It has always stuck with me.

You juxtapose that with how cool KLove is and Nance just comes off looking like a complete POS. I understand these guys are like anyone else and they have their good days and bad days, but I don't think this is an isolated incident with Nance. A lot of times he comes off as aloof and sarcastic.

Combine that with whatever the hell he has going on with Sexton, I wouldn't be upset to see him go. I had high hopes for Junior when that trade was made last year, both as a boost to the last year with LBJ and a potential longterm piece, but his disdain for Sexton couldn't be more obvious and if I'm picking between those two, give me the 20-year-old who clearly works his ass off and has improved dramatically in his first season over Nance ... who has leveled off (at best) since we acquired him and seems to not give a shit about much of anything.

EDIT: Haven't been on the board in a while and I just clicked around a bit and see this is a well worn path. Nance's thread title has even been renamed to note this particular incident. Guess I'm not breaking any new ground here. :chuckle:

LMMFAO @ Collin picking off Donkeylips Green on that pass. You ain't Kevin Love!

And then he did it AGAIN (think it was Steph trying the Love pass the second time).

Collin was clearly my favorite part of that game. If not for the tank I'd been pissed about losing that one....

I was thinking how Lebron would have loved to have Collin instead of JR against GS last year.

I was also thinking how Sexton, Nwaba, and the current versions of Cedi and Zizic would have huge help for any of the finals teams.

Even Knight would have been a good combo guard to put next to LBJ.

It would have been cool, but no way everyone would have made it through the year without getting traded. Like they would have traded Cedi instead of Korver or something.

They would have given up on Collin in the first 2 months.

I love Collin and the progress he made this season but let's not go crazy. Sexton would have been a nightmare on the defensive end.

All five would have been shredded by the Warriors.

Zizic and Sexton on the floor against that team? In the Finals?

I think everyone last year got shredded by the warriors. No one really has a formula to go up against them.

I think Sexton's ability to attack constant would have helped. I think Zizic like Mozgov in 2015 and 2016 would have had a role.

The formula that I thought that could work is two guards that will attack downhill for the whole game, putting constant pressure on them until crunch time. I was real excited at the thought of Kyrie and Rose rotating in for each other before Kyrie asked to be traded. Then have a switch everything group with big wing players to combat their death lineup. I always thought we were at least one big wing short every year after Durant got there.

I would have taken any of those 5 guys over Clarkson or Hood from last year. Maybe saying huge help would have been an exaggeration but I think they could have helped in their current forms.
