1996: Cleveland couldn't approve funding for a new stadium. Browns moved to Baltimore.

2008: Seattle couldn't approve funding for a new stadium. Sonics moved to OKC.

Two of the best fan bases had their teams ripped away from them because they couldn't secure funding for a new stadium. I doubt Cleveland ever votes down stadium funding again.

Why does Ohio have all these countless funding levy's and shit and we don't have anything like this in PA? We literally never have ballot issues at all. I'm guessing it's something to do with commonwealth vs whatever the hell ohio is. The only other place I ever lived was in Virginia and it's also a commonwealth but I didn't vote all the time back then.
