We do need shooters. I wonder if his shooting percentage from 3 is near the top of the league, because 10 points per game isn't spectacular. Unless he is off the bench, which is where I would guess we would use him.

10 PPG in euroleague isn't spectacular but it is very consistent. Shows he has the ability to play in a system and based on his % shows hes able to contribute in a role. AKA no ego and efficient. Wed do well with that right about now

Danny Green scored 9.1ppg this year on 41% shooting from 3.
Rudez scored 10.4ppg on 44% shooting from 3.

I know they aren't the same player, but he can have a real impact at 10ppg is my point.

Ok let's hope he fits nba game better than euro. He really never seemed anything special. At all. Just don't understand it.

He's not supposed to be anything special, he's just a floor spacer like a Battier for the Heat a couple years ago. I feel like Rudez would be a good fit with Blatt and someone like LeBron. Hey, maybe he chose the Cavs because he's heard Blatt is coming here? Or he just came here because we were the only ones to offer him.

If he turns out to be a solid role-player, great. If he turns out to be a towel-waver, I doubt we'll pay him enough for it to really be a big loss.

We needed to get older, needed some length and needed outside shooting so I'm going to put this in the good pile for now unless the contract is silly.

By signing Rudez, it pretty much eliminates drafting Wiggins (unless he'll be a 2 in the NBA) and Parker which means we draft Embiid. I'm fine with all of this...as long as we get Blatt for our head coach.

Why?

Wiggins and Rudez are 2 different situations.
