Slow down on the praise and worship of Gilbert.

He is known to be a talker and saying what people want to hear.

Wait and see what he actually does to make us a Championship caliber team.

Until that happens he is just full of it like he has always been.

It doesn't matter. At our lowest point he gave us some pride. Even if it doesn't happen, his statement did alot to unite this fanbase. I smiled, and this letter was what I needed right now. No matter how baseless the statement was.

I just wanted to say that although this latest betrayal hurts, myself and the other true fans of this wonderful franchise are behind you 110%. It is wonderful to know that there are still loyal people in this town who finally want to see us succeed. I am sure you know the pain that us Clevelanders have been through for the last two years, finally culminating in tonight's stunning and shameful conclusion.


It is always darkest before dawn. With you and Mr. Grant at the helm, I feel that dawn will be upon us soon enough. Thank you once again for being the embodiment of loyalty and what it means to be a professional and a Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

Gilbert is going to get killed in the national media, and I couldn't care less. And my guess is he couldn't care less either.

Gilbert knows who he has to reach and that is the Cavalier fans. He's done that...screw what the rest of the world thinks. I love him.
