Re: Cavs looking to trade Daniel Gibson?
I can understand why trading Andy, despite the love for him, makes sense. I mean, you're looking at potential lottery picks, young talent, etc. And it's still a tough call. But honestly, what are you going to get from trading Boobie? A first round pick? Maybe we can use it to draft a decent guard who can come off the bench and shoot threes/play good perimeter defense!
I can understand why it might sound like a good idea... building assets, etc, etc, but it seems like trading someone just for the sake of trading him. You're either going to get equal, or worse return for him.
Also, defensively, he's everything I want Kyrie to be. Not a lock down defender, but his effort on the defensive end proves that anybody with decent conditioning/quickness/athleticism can play effervescent NBA defense, giving Kyrie no excuses.
