Not sure if you've seen this. A nice breakdown of the 3rd Qt. of the of the Grizzlies vs Cavaliers. Nice to see how many options open up when Blatt's system is in place

Agree with you, did you also notice that Vardon phrased it (and also the tone he used) to LeBron "we were actually told to ask you", whereas what I got from watching Blatt's interview was that Blatt could care less if Vardon asked LeBron about it, but basically if Vardon wanted to follow up on it he would have to ask LeBron directly. It sort of implied at least to me that Blatt was possibly upset with LeBron for staying in and was sort of challenging LeBron to respond to that. Dunno, thats how I took it, it just seemed like he was trying to stir things up. To me Blatt was just saying ask LeBron that rather than me...get it from the horses mouth. But Vardon was twisting it in such a way as to suggest that Blatt wanted to know why Lebron did what he did or to somehow embarass LeBron for it. It's a minor thing but its the sort of thing that can set off one of these little sub plots, and Vardon knew that. you can tell blatt doesnt like Vardon much, and honestly who would given his lack of respect toward Blatt. Not saying a reporter should kiss people's asses but theres a difference between asking hard questions and trying to set people up to cause infighting.

Anyone else catch in Blatt's presser, him calling Joe "Joe Harden"? Unless I misheard.....

If he said that, I love it. Also, I'm a female and really want to meet Coach Blatt. Hope I run into him someday downtown ( I work near the Q).

The way he dressed down Vardon made me downright blush... I mean, shit, if that was me in Vardon's shoes after having been put down so many times, I don't think I would even dare asking questions any more out of fear of being lit up so bad that I'd spontaneously combust. Props to Joe for basically still stumbling drunkenly around blindfolded in a minefield, even though he's already lost an arm and a leg.

Blatt doesn't like Vardon because he asks shitty gossip questions that have nothing to do with basketball.

Okay, I just went back and watched again. He did call him Joe Harden - lmao, I love it. You can tell Blatt can't stand the guy.

Also, the other tool, Chris Haynes, asks him an equally leading question: "Did you feel like you played without Kevin Love tonight?"

Did anyone rat out the blogger/reporter that was taking pictures of a half-naked LeBron in the locker room a couple weeks ago? Seems like something Varden would do w/o a second thought.

I'm pretty sure it was a visiting team's reporter. I can't imagine if it was one of the local guys that they would still have their credentials. That's a pretty open and shut case for not being allowed the team anymore.

Not only can SA not fall to the 8 seed, but they appear to be intent on maintaining that one game lead on the Cavs. None of their top players are getting rested these days. I think they understand there is a great likelihood they will be playing the Cavs in June and they want a game 7, if there is one, in SA. I think Blatt and the Cavs are looking at the same thing at this point, and may want to push SA to at least keep playing their players through the end of the regular season.
