- Last game of the season, fan appreciation night. It was a special night. Our guys played as hard as they can, we had an exciting and competitive game. Some guys had the role of being active primarily in practice and helping other guys get good, and seeing them playing serious minutes and being responsible for us winning the game was really great to see.

- Shawn ending the regular season like that is kinda fitting. Blatt says that Marion should be in the Hall of Fame in the future. He is appreciated, loved and respected in the team.

- Love seeing the ball and getting shots was definitely part of the gameplan. Wanted to get him involved and get him a good day's work going into the playoffs.

- Coach says that he is still learning, and still figuring out the NBA. Happy that our team is coming to the playoffs after going through something. It wasn't a cakewalk but we got stronger and worked through difficuly times and that has made us battle ready and a more unified group.

- If LeBron wouldn't sit out 8 games and (emphisizes) I don't sit him out for another 5, we would have a very good chance to get 60 games this season.

- We finished the season healthy, battle ready and unified and that should help us going forward.

Probably safe to say that Chad Ford didn't vote for Blatt to be coach of the year.

The Celtics, however, may have the best young basketball coach in the world. Swap David Blatt out for Brad Stevens, and the Cavs are probably the favorites to win it all. Leave Stevens on the Celtics, and Boston will push Cleveland hard.

We have the best record in the league since our team was made whole....what is so hard for people to understand about that fact...

Well, Chad, as it turns out, Vegas (along with many other betting resources) have the Cavs as the favorites...

Then he disses Blatt again when he picks Chicago to go to the finals

I think the Bulls are deeper and better-coached than the Cavs and have better depth than the Hawks.

Oh noes Chad 'waitletmechangemyolddraftboardssoilooksmarter' Ford thinks the Cavs could be coached better! I don't doubt there are better coaches in the NBA, no one is going to step in year 1 n be Pops, but I also just watched a solid but certainly not great coach take a similarly talented team to 4 straight Finals. Enjoy being the *retroactively* smartest man in the room, Ford.

Why's Ford bagging on Blatt, everyone knows that James is the real head coach. Isnt that what the media's been telling us all season?

Chad ford is everyones favorite Mormon.

Thibodeuax and Stevens are the apple in everyones pie.

Meanwhile Rookie NBA coaches like Mike , Kerr, and Blatt have secured the first and 2nd seeds and second year coach Jason Kidd has the Bucks in the playoffs with a winning record to which Stevens hasnt accomplished yet in the same time frame.

Meanwhile Toronto and Washington with lots of young talent soldiered in with the blue collar coaching of the likes of whittman and Casey.

Blatts allowed this team to form chemistry. hes worked guys individually and hes kept distractions to a minimum and there was alot thrown the Cavs way this season.
Thibedeux wears his guys down to a point they look like a mash unit at the end of the season. Stevens although promising is just as an unproven commodity in the playoffs as Blatt is.
