The biggest surprise of the first 3 games is the lack of open perimeter shots. You'd think with Lebron driving and Love posting up it would create open 3's for Kyrie and Miller, but it hasn't at all. It's weird. In Miami it always worked with Battier and Allen working the corners, Lebron and Wade driving, and then kicking out for a 3.

Guys are still trying to figure out where they want to be on the court and where they are comfortable at taking their shots. No one is getting open looks because the ball stays on one-side and no one is drawing out defenders to set up players except for LeBron on a few occasions. The other problem is that the ball is stuck on the hands of LeBron and Kyrie and eventually, the coach will need to make a decision and one of them will have to make the sacrifice to play off the game. I just hope it won't be too long for them to figure that out.

Blatt want the team to move the ball and run good ball movement and doesn't necessarily want a primary playmaker, but I don't think he has the right type of players who are disciplined and selfless enough to run that offense and everyone must buy in to what coach is trying to sell. Right now the whole team is suffering from getting involved because they're just watching the LeBron's show vs Kyrie's show, but only one of them knows how to run the show and win games.

I never want to hear the word offensive genius again. Between Tom Herman at OSU and now Blatt, it's a tainted word, even if he turns it around lol.

So Blatt realizes this season is long right?

Only plays 8 guys on a back to back? One of which only played 13 minutes.

Yeah that's what worries me. He seems in over his head right now. Lebron and Kyrie played way too much. Save them, who cares about this game.

Blatt looks to be in over his head. They don't even try to run offense, and the defense is awful.

They can have plenty of rest when we start winning and getting leads. Until then, he sort of has to keep them in the game for us to even keep it close or have a chance. I don't have a problem with it.

israelis show yourselves!

u promised us wins! genius! ball movement!

I am guessing he's use to FIBA's 40 min game time rotation. He doesn't seem to have adjust the rotation NBA's 48 min.

That's no excuse. I've been really disappointed with Blatt recently.

So much for LeBron playing 32 minutes per game, as some were suggesting would be the case...Personally, though I liked the Marion and Miller signings, I was a bit concerned about the bench, and it turns out that Blatt apparently either doesn't trust the bench or else he just hasn't figured out how to use it. Which one is it? Younger, cheap options were out there (Aminu, Ed Davis, etc.), but Griffin went with the guys with a championship pedigree. I never looked at playing time distribution of Blatt's Maccabi teams, but typically European coaches play deep benches -- of course, they don't have the luxury of having LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love on their rosters.

No excuse playing Andy the ENTIRE 4th quarter when he had looked slow on EVERY defensive rotation out there.

Puts Thompson in with over a minute left...offensive board and put back. Favors was eating Love and Andy for lunch. Why? b/c he is a quick, athletic big...don't we also have one of those?

This loss falls on Blatt.

Also, playing Miller for the last 8 min. I don't remember him touching the ball once. It's like whoever plays SG pretty much gets ignored. And, Mike's not like he's a shutdown defender. No O and D, I don't see the point.
