Serious question. Is Blatt scared to coach anybody not named Dion Waiters?

We have no backup pg at the moment,
Della is hurt, who's gonna replace Bron when he's out?
We only have subs at SG and SF positions.

israelis show yourselves!

u promised us wins! genius! ball movement!
Still here... :)

Patience, my friend, patience...
Handling egos of superstars is not easy.

In my days I've doubted sports decisions by practically everyone. There are only 3 guys in the world which I learned to stop doubting and let them be the geniuses that they are...

1. Andres Iniesta
2. Leo Messi
3. David Blatt

The psychological aspects of playing a certain way and losing might actually help drive in the notions of playing a different way. But it doesn't happen overnight. It's a process, and can take a long time. The habits that need to be broken stem from a psychological mindset, based on a whole lifetime. Give it a few weeks, maybe months, and it will change.

I just hope David doesnt get canned in the process...

Serious question. Are you going to comment on anything not related to defending Dion or without bringing him up in every post ?

I dont get how Kerr goes into GS and his offense works right away and our looks worse than Mike Brown. Maybe the eurofluff stuff doesnt work? Pop only uses a few concepts from it.

Because that team has played together for a lot longer than 4 games? Yea, I'd say that's it....

The GSW also have a lot more chemistry and experience playing together. Certainly a factor.

Golden state has had that same core going on quite a few years now. This basketball club has been almost completely revamped, and despite the obvious roster improvements; it is pretty obvious we have a huge hole at center and the second wing.

They can have plenty of rest when we start winning and getting leads. Until then, he sort of has to keep them in the game for us to even keep it close or have a chance. I don't have a problem with it.

Let's be real, the only reason he has to play them so many minutes is because his rotations are worse than Mike Browns.

It's early in the season so i'm gonna not blow down on him like others but he needs to get it together... Fast.

What should the rotations be to lessen the minutes. This is like the standard fan complaint about NBA coaches. Rotations are always bad. So I want to know what you guys would do because Haywood and James Jones aren't NBA caliber players anymore and Delly was out tonight.

Dion more than 13 minutes would be a start...

Well what's the goal? I made the point after the Bulls game the goal right now shouldn't be wins, but I got shit on for that. So if the goal is development for later in the season, yea, play Dion more. But if the goal is winning? Nah, playing Dion right now doesn't help further that goal at all.

You think playing Miller and Marion over Dion at SG is more conducive to winning now? Because I sure as hell don't.

And to be honest I have no problem with Dion playing 11 minutes if the goal is for development and breaking bad habits. I do have a problem when Blatt does this only to Dion though as if he's the only whose play has been troubling so far. Kyrie plays like shit and overdribbles all the time and Blatt doesn't seem to do much of anything to let him know he's not playing within the offense.

We can bitch about Kyrie's play all day but if he's still seeing upwards of 40 minutes a night Blatt is seemingly rewarding his bad play. Take him out, coach him up, and break these bad habits. That's what Kyrie and Dion both need right now.
