(and this actually looks allot like my dog, I still have not forgiven him)

I'd definitely consider Vick. It's easy to joke, but he is a Probowl quarterback if he has pass protection... And pass protection is our team's strength. It's boom or bust, but quarterbacks that can win you games are hard to find.

Blah blah blah.

Someone make a legitimate argument as to why we should choose him. Ok BigMar992, explain:

Argument #1: Right now, our QB is Brandon Weeden.

Argument #2: As soon as Chip Kelly comes in, argument #1 is void.

Argument #3: Mike Vick makes this team SO MUCH MORE EXCITING.

Argument #4: Mike Vick makes this team SO MUCH BETTER.

Argument #5: Name me someone who you'd rather have, and explain why (several people have in other threads - kuddos Amherst [Alex Smith], etc).

So instead of just typing NO and I'M A F`ng JERK, try explaining yourself. Otherwise, you're just racist (j/k).

Yeah, Mike Vick and his 20+ turnovers and subpar passing ability

Sign me up. He haz athleticismz

Mike Vick and his 20+ turnovers no thanks in part to his offensive line's struggles.

KILLER DAWG POUND BABY!!

obligatory 'dawg pound killer' joke

Yeah, it's the offensive line's fault his hands are too small to properly secure the ball. He has always had fumble problems. He's a subpar passer, regardless of how you want to try to spin this.

He's 10x better than Brandon Weeden and everyone you have mentioned thus far (no one).

1.) PR Nightmare.

2.) He hasn't played more than 13 games in a season since 2006.

3.) His QB Rating has decreased from 100.2 to 84.9 to 78.1 while his Comp % has decreased from 62.6 to 59.8 to 58.1%

4.) While Weeden's only 2 years younger, he's hasn't taken the multitude of NFL hits that Vick has over the span of 10 seasons.

What you see as a nightmare others see as $$$$

2.) He hasn't played more than 13 games in a season since 2006.

Just the nature of his game...I'd rather take 13 games of him over 16 games of Weeden, honestly.

3.) His QB Rating has decreased from 100.2 to 84.9 to 78.1 while his Comp % has decreased from 62.6 to 59.8 to 58.1%

Valid concerns. Can't really argue against that. Just would hope for a better output based on what we have surrounding him.

4.) While Weeden's only 2 years younger, he's hasn't taken the multitude of NFL hits that Vick has over the span of 10 seasons.

Can't argue this. Which is why I think we definitely need to get Vick's replacement in the system quick. I still think Colt could have value on this team - with or without Vick - as a #2.

If the choice is between Vick and his 20+ turnovers and subpar passing ability or Weeden with his 20+ turnovers and inability to throw a ball without staring down his receiver for ten seconds, I'll take Vick. At least Vick has the potential to be an elite quarterback in the right scheme and with an offensive line that can, you know, actually block defenders. Weeden's ceiling is probably an average NFL quarterback.

What kind of contract do you offer? I don't disagree with your post, my comments weren't based on his relativity to Weeden, but his individiual limitations and abilities/career marks as an NFL player.

I don't know if his agent takes a 1 year contract (that's what I would offer) and make the movefor Bridgewater in 2014
