Denzel Ward

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If he’s cleared, he’s going to play. Honestly can’t imagine any player on the team deciding not to play if medically cleared.

Thought I totally agree he should be shut down.

They can easily NOT medically clear him. The team has an interest in shutting him down for the year. Happens all the time

The team doesn't clear him or not from a concussion. If they want him out, they have to find another reason. The league handles it all in concussion protocol.

Correct. He could have a "lower back strain" all of a sudden.

If he is cleared, you let him play. He has all offseason to heal and the kid wants to play and has earned the right to be out there. I get the risks, but you let him play.

I don't agree but that's fine.

In the grand scheme of things, the game is meaningless. He has 2 confirmed concussions almost back to back. The 2nd of which came last week. Let him heal and get him ready for when games matter next season.

There’s no way he should play. It’s worth the risk. There’s rumors he has a concussion earlier in the year so this could be his 3rd. No reason he needs to play.

Malcolm butler was a healthy scratch in the super bowl. You can inactive a player for anything.

Well, the league can clear him, but the team can opt not to.

If Gregg Will yelling at him doesnt fix his tackling maybe brain damage will.

Didn’t practice on 12/26

Everyone should watch this video about CB vs EDGE value in the NFL draft. I made this point last offseason and it was a big reason why I liked the Denzel Ward pick.

CBs hit-rate is 33% in the top of the first round, slowly declines through the rest of the first, and totally collapses afterwards. EDGE and IDL hit-rate is generally really high in the first, still high in the second and top-half of the third, and then falls off.
