I need to do the Summoning Pits on Heroic for my Exotic Handcannon bounty. Anyone up for it tonight?

Destiny is only set for 2 dlc packs right? One in December, and i think one in March.
Even if each dlc pack had as much content as the vanilla game, how in the world would that last until 2016 (since supposedly it's a bi annual release).
Are they going to constantly be adding stuff like the raid? Every month or something, because if not, this game is going to be very very dead soon. It already takes a noticeable amount of time to matchmake, although that could just be on the servers side as opposed to player count.
The last thing I want is to have a Titanfall situation (pc version), where you sit there for 10 minutes waiting for a match.
I already don't see too many people on each planet, except for Earth. Earth is always populated, Mars might as well not exist I guess.
I guess honestly this doesn't effect me much. I don't play much PVP, and most of the high level strikes don't match make anyways.

They've only announced two DLC packs, probably because those packs were already done and removed from the retail game to sell back to us as DLC. I have no doubt that, as long as people keep buying them, Activision will have Blizzard milking this series for everything it's worth for the next two years.

Does anyone want to attempt the Raid before the weekly reset (2am pst)? I want to at least get shards! This damn game man, I keep getting ascendant energy, I have around 30 of them now, 5 shards.
The Raid gear is very important apparently, it's the only way to get to 30. Full disclosure, I am going into the Raid 100% blind. I have literally no idea what happens in any part of it.
That to me is the most fun part of any game. I am fine with any of you knowing everything to do, I just like to learn on the fly, not do homework for my video games lol.
Edit: and I am assuming there will be more, how could there not be. If the leaked 5 missions, 1 or 2 strikes, and a raid is true, that level of content is insulting for more than 9.99. That's like 6 hours of in game worth tops, if you milk it. Just because you can play the missions 57 times each, doesn't make it worth the money.
Throw in the paltry story, and you have a recipe for people going "nope". I hope there is a Destiny 2, the game has a lot of potential, but Destiny 1 might ruin the franchise.

We obviously need more people, but I really want to try the raid out.
If we can't get anything going today, we should really try for a better time between us like a sunday or something where everyone can get on.
I'll add you. I'm jumping on with a ps3 buddy prolly gonna mess around do the daily.

I'm down for checking out the raid, but I still need to gain at least one level. I've heard going into it even one level under 26 is basically a death sentence, and that realistically level 28 is a smarter bet.

Skill level is way more important than gear level. If you're competent at 26 you're more valuable than an average level 28 player.

Ok so if you are available saturday or sunday, and can get one more level, we've got 3. I mean I am good pretty much anytime, just hung up until about 5pm saturday. I'm hopeful to be 29 by then, even if it's dumb.
Sorry I never ended up joining. I had a few other things going on so I was back and forth and didn't want to screw anything up. I'm a little pissed. I got a legendary weapon engram today and it ended up being rare. Thought they fixed that shit.
