I'm available after 6 for a regular raid then if we want. I've only done it once and I got boots so I'm happy trying for more raid gear to push for 30.

I'm more than happy to help out if we don't do the hard mode. Not sure if I have you or not, not home at the moment.

If we are going to do it, we need to heavily coordinate a plan.

If we can have two Titans, one for each conflux side, so they drop a shield every opportunity they get, and multiple Warlocks, it will likely be for the best.

Especially for pushing the templar off. A titan shield with the more orbs perk, so the warlocks can get their supers faster. I don't imagine we could survive enraged Templar for very long. The no revives thing is the real killer in the raid.

For the oracles part, it might just be best to hide every time we aren't killing oracles. Titans throw up a shield, Hunters go invisible, whatever it takes.

No offense meant, but a 28 is going to be particularly useless. Just going in, you already have a 40% nerf on damage done to enemies, not exactly sure how much more damage they do to you.

If we are going to do it today, I only have a hunter to attempt it with. Hopefully by next week, I will have a warlock with self res to do it with. I really need an exotic helmet for my warlock, but Xur didn't cooperate.

I actually just got through the raid on hard this past weekend. Well, not quite through it... we were stuck on atheon for a good hour or so last night and called it quits.

The confluxes and the gatekeeper part are easily the 2 most difficult parts to get past. If you can get past the confluxes though, it's a guaranteed 2 loot drops.

You obviously already know about the templar boss glitch, but the oracles part right before has a pretty easy "cheese" method as well if your team is struggling. When you all respawn up top, simply send one person down to start the round and the other 5 stay up top. Don't stay right at the spawn though... You will want to go backwards and hop up the ledge behind, spreading yourselves out as much as possible. If done correctly, every oracle should be visible by at least one player. The only key now is everybody needs to have some fairly heavy hitting snipers. But my team and I got through this on our 2nd try so it's fairly easy once everyone finds their spots.

It took us probably 10 min to get through both the oracles and the templar. Last night we took a shot at the gatekeepers for the first time, and I gotta tell ya it wasn't as difficult as I imagined. We had five 29's and one 30, but we got through it on probably our 4th run through. Talking to the 30 about it, he agreed that one 30 is probably the bare minimum... he's gonna be your guy that takes out the first gatekeepers and grabs the relic while everyone else is outside defending. The key to all of this is time and teamwork. Always call out the praetorians, and whoever is taking out the gatekeepers and grabbing the 2 relics has to be quick. Defending both the middle conflux and the sync plate becomes overwhelming quickly against four 29's.

As for atheon, well, we should have beaten him, but on one of our runs where he was down to a sliver of health, the game glitched and 2 of our guys didn't get sent through the portal after running through it. We had the strategy down tough, just not the firepower... we got through 3 or 4 cycles multiple times but never finished him. If a 30 gets teleported he needs to grab the relic, but if its only 29's it's not impossible. Basically the other 2 guys who are sent through should use either a sniper or rocket to try and one shot the hobs, or help with the praetorian. Don't forget you can send somebody through to help out the teleported group as well. While it is difficult, I definitely think it's possible running with all 29's.

I'm with Mdog, I'm happy to help you with a regular raid. I like to continue to gain experience and run throughs, even though we already completed it Saturday. Plus, if you continue to gain equipment, it makes the group stronger so we can potentially challenge other raids like the VoG hard and the Dark Below coming out in December.

I'll probably tackle my bounties and daily stuff before the Cavs game, but I should be down to help out after.

I guess the problem is finding 30's then lol. I know one, he's just not very good. Normal, or hard, he consistently has near the least amount of kills on our team. Besides that, he doesn't have much shield experience, although he should have gotten some more over his past few attempts, as we let him get it every time.

At the end of the day, the ps3 group I run it with should all be level 30. We've done the VOG multiple times per week since it came out (together, until I started doing it with the RCF group). We absolutely slay normal mode, in about an hour and a halfs work. Hard, everyone just fell apart.

Maybe it isn't as hard as it seems. We only tried 3 times, fir about an hour each time. What we really need is RNGesus to bless us with some gear we don't have. Everyone is 29, missing one piece of armour to he 30, and has been for weeks.

Even the RCF group has a lot of 29s that are basically missing one piece to get to 30.

If we do the raid tonight, I want to use my Warlock, and get my armour levelled up, almost at level 28 with it.

All I want is gloves bro, all I want is gloves. I have 5 exotic helmets, 2x third man, 2x achosomething symbiate, and newly acquired Knucklehead.

I coached everyone to get an exotic helmet, so everyone has one. Don't know about the RCF group.

Sunbreakers are pretty awesome. Maybe my biggest problem with this whole game us that the only reason to be level 30 is the hard raid. There is nothing else that you can do as a 30, that you can't as a 28. You don't run into level 30 enemies, except in the Raid.

Hopefully the dlc adds some higher leveled missions, and strikes. Why cap the strikes at 24?

There should be at least a 28 playlist. And a playlist with random burns on.

I normally run the raid with my buddies but I've been working on a separate warlock class for the past week and grinded him up to a 27 (was very fortunate to have acquired a full set of legendary armor for him just playing through my titan).

Anyways I'm pretty free Saturday and Sunday so if we can get a crew going I'm in.

I play the crucible all the time, and between the Knucklehead Radar, Suros Regime, and Golden Gun I'm an unstoppable killing machine. Are any of our RCF players PvPers besides Shad and I? I'd have almost as much fun running fire teams in the crucible as I do running raids.

I really only like that Salvage mode. I believ that's what it's called. Got about 9 shutouts sunday all in a row, and decided it might be best to stop playing lol.
