So, when are we thinking about Raiding this week? And if so, who's in? We've done Saturdays at 4 PM the last two weeks. Does this still work? Maybe later in the evening?

Any night is good for me. I'm always up for it, hell even multiple times if there's multiple groups. I thoroughly enjoy the raid.

I'm basically free from 2-5pm on Saturday this week, and then Sunday night I'll be home. That's pretty much it for me, so you may have to run without me this time.

I'll be at the Browns game on Sunday, so I probably won't be on until the evening. I have to drive from Cleveland through hellish traffic down to Canal Fulton to take my girlfriend home then back up to Akron. I'm thinking like 8 or so, but I'll try to get on earlier.

If the xbox 1 crew wants to get a raid crew going this weekend, I'm game. I normally run the raid with my buddies but I've been working on a separate warlock class for the past week and grinded him up to a 27 (was very fortunate to have acquired a full set of legendary armor for him just playing through my titan).

Anyways I'm pretty free Saturday and Sunday so if we can get a crew going I'm in.

I finished the raid last night and got lots of sweet stuff like the Atheons Epilogue...which I'm really looking forward to using it since it comes with Void damage.

Anyways, I'm trying to get my duplicate character to 20 so I can transfer my gear and do the raid again this week. If I can get it done before the weekend, then I'm down.

That, or if someone wants to try the Raid on Hard, I'm down too.

Don't be too excited about the Epilogue. It shoots all over the place. Even with the stability perk, it isn't incredibly accurate. The big clip size, and the rate of fire is great for close range combat though for sure.

Get a Confluence, best weapon in the game imo.

I got the confluence and it's awesome with its solar damage on a primary weapon. That's the key with atheons epilogue. I believe it does void damage. These are must haves when it comes to the raid and nightfall. Ohdang, your not the only one. Last 2 times I've beat atheon I've gotten chatter white and ascendent materials.

I got my 4th VOC last night... I like the gun, but not that much. This game really has a hate on for me lately. The last three times the only thing I've gotten is the Thunderlord MG. I don't use machine guns, but it's an exotic, so I don't want to scrap it.

So are we doing it Sunday, when Dang gets back, or are we doing it Saturday? As long as there's no Cavs game, I'm good either way.

Edit: Cavs game Saturday at 730. So the earlier the better if we do it Saturday. The earliest I can get home is 4. But if you guys can find someone to replace me, and want to run it, that's fine. I know nobody wants to miss the game. I've already done it with 2 characters this week, so no big deal.

Atheon's epilogue is fun to use, but its utterly useless in the hard mode raid. Might as well be shooting a staple gun. High impact weapons are best (scout rifles, fusion rifles, snipers, heavies). A lot of people seem to like using handcannons too. I've honestly never given one a shot so they might work as well.

I beat atheon on hard earlier this week. Ended up getting the vex mythoclast. Soooooo much fun to use. The only downside to it is it carries so little ammo in reserve. Doesn't matter in the crucible but I definitely find myself scavenging for ammo more often in pve

I can be available Saturday or Sunday night depending on others' schedules to run the VoG. At this point, if we go Saturday at 4, we have myself, Mdog, and Rookie I think. There are other non-RCFers I can call upon, but I wanted to try to build up a group that could gain experience together.

Of the two days, Saturday is the easier of the two. But, I can try Sunday.

Sometimes we won't be able to sync the schedules up. That's just life. Sure it would be great to have the same group every time, but it's impossible.

But like I said, I'm fine with either day. Saturday is likely better for me, but I can shake my Sunday schedule up if need be. I just like the raid in general lol. I've already done normal with both this week,

Edit: should say, I'll be checking here at about 2-230 pm tomorrow to see what's been decided. Let me know on here if we're running it tomorrow or not.

I just leveled up my hunter in case anyone wants to run it again. It should be lvl 26 by tomorrow.

OMG, I just got the Raid Gauntlets, the last piece I needed for Lvl 30. Now I just got to grind it out to 30.

Also, I just tried Atheon checkpoint on hard for 2+ hrs and we could not beat it. Discouraging...

Anybody have any tips on how to beat him on hard? We got so close multiple times but people kept dying.
