Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I somehow strained/pulled my Biceps Femoris a day or 2 ago. I believe I over did my squat jumps and single leg squat exercises.

I still did my workout today. Not sure what a smart move it was. I'm sure tomorrow morning will be telling.

Anyways, here is a quick insight to my hybrid yoga that I do. Today was the first time that I've ever done a routine that required free weights.

I was doing very good (eating wise), for a week. But then I felt the need to eat sweets -- my lemon bars were destroyed in 4 days. I feel so guilty about it. Still kept up with my workouts, but the timing of the sweets eating coincides with me being a female-- which I thought was a myth, but it hit me this time.

I do a weekly seaweed wrap on my legs to get rid of the toxins and firm my skin. I'm also planning on doing Level 2 of Jillian's Yoga Inferno. I have no idea what to expect. I just know that this workout requires the use of free weights.

Thursdays are usually my full body workout days.

Went for my 6.2 mile cardio. Haven't done that since July. I was getting waved at, honked at and saluted while on my way. I kept thinking it was because I was in beast mode with ankle weights and free weights in my hand. Halfway through, I realized it was my Marines pullover. Everyone thought I was a Marine.

Also, I think I'm in yoga pants overdrive. I now get mine that are skinny (leggings). I still have a the normal yoga pants, but it seems that all my pants are now yoga. And then my sports bra are too big now. I guess that's good news, but that means I need to do more shopping online for sports bras.

dear god the gym is fucking boring.

someone give me the rundown on preworkout supps

then I never would have started on juice fool

I woke up this morning and my obliques, serratus, and trapezius are all sore. My pace was faster than I anticipated. Even with the ankle weights, I beat my normal time by 10 minutes.

I'm realizing that my legs never get that sore because I'm always doing jumping squats.

Sadly, that was probably the last decent weather we're going to get until April/May. Sucks because I like the outdoor cardio the most. Headphones and music. But then I get to Detroit and I'm in awe by all of the shops that they have. I get easily distracted too.

I may need to soak in the tub tonight, otherwise it's going to be difficult to get out of bed tomorrow morning. And I'm out of epsom salt..... Damn it!

I'm also the asshole that will do cardio for 2 hours and then come home and destroy chips and chocolate chip cookies.

I have been on low cholesterol diet for two months and my weight is quiet stable (it fluctuates plus/minus 2 pounds) with minimal physical activity. I've been on low salt for going on five years now, so I've lost my water weight. I'm 6'0 167, but it's a very, very torso-centric weight and it bothers me. We have four months until Spring Break, and while I'm not wanting to be a solid rock with a six pack, I'm certainly trying to get a bit slimmer. I shit a lot, if that helps. Healthy shits, too. I started cardio yesterday; three hours of basketball and ran laps between games. I'm absolutely dead today, but that's a good thing I suppose. I'm not trying to lift to get big, because my awkward build doesn't hold muscles very well. Any ideas, outside of situps/crunches, on building a solid core?

you need to lose weight. figure out how many cal you need a day to maintain and then subtract 1000 from that

Doing outdoor cardio was a colossal mistake. I woke up this morning with a sore throat. Went to work without grabbing the Alka Seltzer. Got a headache halfway through the day. Took an Aleve that did nothing. Someone with cologne came in and made it worse. I still haven't been able to get rid of it.

1000 is drastic at 167lbs, esp with ~4 months to complete the task.

167 is pretty skinny at 6ft. going down much from there will look silly.

not depending on his body composition. I have a 6'4 friend who weighs 135 but hes got 7% bf... adjust for height and he'd be at a comparative 114.. So djtj could be 50 lbs overweight

1000 cal is not hard to do.

I'm essentially skinny and long in the limbs, narrow in the chest, and then a gut. From what? I honestly have no clue. I don't drink beer, I don't eat bread/rice/pasta outside of maybe once a month, and stay away from dairy nearly outright.

Are you actively working out?

Sometimes there is the case of weird/bad shapes that are passed down genetically. Just be thankful you don't have a SpongeBob SquarePants shape. :chuckles:
