Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
dear god the gym is fucking boring.

someone give me the rundown on preworkout supps

Tried a bunch

C4- cheap good tingle but loses its effectiveness relatively quickly

Muscle Pharm Assault- good focus not an overwhelming boost but it s more something you notice when you stop taking it

M-5- sucks and tastes terrible

Controlled Labs White Flood- By far my favorite really clean energy, creatine free really goes well if you drink Purple Wraath during you workout in tandem with this one.

Hey, does anyone recommend some earbuds/earphones for active people? Ones that won't come off in the gym shooting hoops, running outside, etc. I had a mediocre pair of $10 ones with average sound but at least they didn't pop out, but they're fucked now. Tried the ones that came with my Galaxy, they were horrible. Tried the ones that came with my new iPod, they are horrible. I'm willing to pay for something good. Was looking at the Powerbeats by Dre, but who knows. They're really expensive which I'm fine with but only if I'm getting my $$ worth.

When you buy Beats you pay for the name...they make decent headphones but are super overpriced.

I typically just buy cheaper buds because I don't want to get an expensive set all sweaty, I have a nice ~$120 dollar pair for home listening. My latest pair is the Panasonic Ergo Fit and they are pretty darn nice for how cheap they are. Got them for like ten bucks on Amazon.

They don't have any "exercise" features like around-the-ear attachments though...I've never had a problem with plain in-ear headphones falling out though.

Been having the same problem for years. I dunno if my ears are just small or what but buds never fit.

An over the ear attachment would be great.

I can't do earbuds. My ears are too small to keep them in.
I had switchback headphones.

not depending on his body composition. I have a 6'4 friend who weighs 135 but hes got 7% bf... adjust for height and he'd be at a comparative 114.. So djtj could be 50 lbs overweight

1000 cal is not hard to do.
i know everyone has diff goals and all but that....sounds really gross looking. the cancer patient look shouldn't be achieved by choice.

I'm essentially skinny and long in the limbs, narrow in the chest, and then a gut. From what? I honestly have no clue. I don't drink beer, I don't eat bread/rice/pasta outside of maybe once a month, and stay away from dairy nearly outright.
that's from being weak, not lifting at all, and eating even just a bit above maintenance (going 100 cals above per day isn't much short-term, but compounds long-term due to the two comments above). basically the definition of skinny fat.

also, lifting in and of itself does not lead to "getting big." women tend to believe this misconception a lot and operate under the assumption that weights are evil and cardio forever is the key to success.

Surprisingly, hes got good muscle tone. Doesnt look like he has cancer, athletic, can dunk etc

This has always annoyed me. People scared of "getting too big." Especially women since it is doubly hard for women to get big.

Getting big (muscle big) takes a ton of hard work and dedication. It doesn't accidentally happen. To say that you don't want to get big just trivializes that effort required.

Have you used them? I need something that will not fall out and not require constant readjusting. Tired of that nonsense.

Yea these work great for me I have two pairs I use when at the gym. I put it in the twist into position, they don't fall out.

I like these, the piece over the buds is soft and comes with two different sizes. You move them around to fit in the ear perfectly. The clip around the ear is rubber and not plastic. Cheap and affordable. Does the trick for me.

Finished Insanity, definitely a program I'd recommend. I lost 12 pounds and around 5 inches around my midsection. Even though the number isn't huge, the effect it has on your body is definitely noticeable. Since last January I've lost 55 pounds, from 240 to 185.

Better man than me. Insanity made me freaking miserable stopped after the first month went back to lifting and cardio at the gym.
