Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd love to try Jillian's 90 day body revolution. The unfortante thing with living in an apartment (wooden floors) is I can't too crazy with cardio.

Managed to get in a workout, despite feeling awful.

Cheated on my diet for the first time last night and I feel awful about it. Everyone says "you should have a cheat meal once a week" but eh I just don't like it. Beer doesn't help my inhibitions for sure.

Regardless I've been really good about it otherwise, under 2k calories every day, around 100g carbs which I will probably want to reduce down but that includes vegetables and post-workout carbs. Last night was the first time in over a week I ate anything processed. Weighed in at 204.5 last Monday, was right at 200.5 on Wednesday. Dunno how much was water weight but my pants are already fitting better. Need a new belt. Strength routine plus relatively low carb diet ftw.

And the farmers walks and other movements I've been doing to help my bowling/grip strength have really paid off, I can actually use my new bowling ball now :)

Just started T25 workout on Sunday. Down 5 pounds in about a week….started at 226, am at 221 today. Got a long way to go, want to be back down to 200 by the end of January.
Way to easy to get out of shape now a days.
Tried to do the Insanity workout as well but the workouts are just too long…40 minutes at minimum..more when you have to do the abs afterwards, then the workouts shoot to an hour in the second phase…blah
I've got a full time job and two little boys…no time for all of that.
So far I like this program..25 minutes a workout…period. Generally, just try to get a workout in before work and then I'm good the rest of the day.

I agree. Anything longer than 30minutes is too much, especially for a workout program.
I have some of the DDPYOGA videos and there are is one that's an hour and 18 minutes. I've done it 2x, but it's too time consuming for my liking.

Jesus christ is tren cough fucking terrible. Was just thinking the other day how weird it was that it hadnt happened lately. Inject this morning and only half the shit was in before i feel it come on... I do everything I can to not start coughing, because I know what happens if I do, but after 30 seconds I couldnt hold out anymore. All saliva I had produced for a good 3 minute span was on the floor and couch, the dog is running around pissing on things and crying thinking im dying.. somehow managed to get to the bed and slept it off.

I look like fucking bullshit right now. Im big again, but not good without a shirt. Its been a shitty 3 months for diet. Much easier to eat right and workout when youre unemployed and single.

Been clean on fast food (my bane) for a couple weeks. Almost gave in a couple times but didn't. Packing lunch to work, usually a couple sandwiches with turkey/lettuce/ham/chicken or whatever. It's finals week and I work full time until next semester so I havent been hitting the gym ... sucks .... starting next week I'll be going full force once again. For me motivation is a big struggle. I have a lot of shit in my life (although it's gotten way better over the last six months) so I keep having to find new things to motivate me, get me out and active, into the gym.

Thing is when I eat healthy and exercise 4-5 times a week, I feel GREAT. Improves my mood tenfold and makes me more confident and it gives me energy to tackle the road blocks in my life. So that's been my biggest way of motivating myself to get into the gym and exercise. Because I know it will fuel and put me in a good mood. Haven't weighed myself ... I have a goal of 165 or 170 and I started at about 210 ... I would like to hope I am back down to 200 by now although I've only been 100% consistent for a few weeks. These things take time ... took me about 4 months to drop to 173 from 200 last time I did this.

We'll see. Just talking to myself here. Helps to put it in words.

Checked out T25 and its pretty good, although i need a much longer cool down or i cant function properly. Thanks for the tip

last I looked at them they took like 4 months to deliver and were selective scamming.

Kodiakqueen, I vouch for vehemently.

Fantastic... Highly debating on taking the plunge. I've wanted to for years

give it a shot, its fun as hell and not really expensive at all. just make sure your diet is in check BEFORE you start or youre wasting your time

Ok, I just booked a trip to the beach in April. So this gives me plenty of time to switch my workouts to a cut type phase. So anybody have any good workouts to toss my way?

I will probably need to cut about 10lb. Im 6'4'', 220lb. My main objection would be is I don't want to do any super light workouts that will sacrifice strength.

Wondering what my diet should be. I'm a shorter caucasian version of Kevin Durant. Been busting my ass in the gym for the last 4+ years and am the prototypical person you would ask "do you even lift bro". Thinking something like 50/30/20 to bulk with 3500-4000 cals. My BMR is something ridiculous like 1750.

most people actually have to cut more than they think they do. Anyways, you can have fight club abs by then.. figure out your BMR and subtract 500.. This is how many calories you need to eat a day to lose a lb a week. You will lose 16 lbs by april if you do this, and you dont even have to run or anything. If you want to lose a little more, go with a caloric deficit of 750 a day. Now youll lose 24 lbs by april.
