Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ok two days into the animal cut cycle. First off the cut pills and the multi vitamin stack are a FUCK TON of pills. I think I'm consuming somewhere around 40 for the day. It's forcing me to constantly consume water so I don't feel like death. Plus side there is no crash and I haven't needed any sort of additional rcaffeine. I'll update in a week about actual weight loss

is there no crash because youre constantly taking pills? lol sounds cray.

seems unecessary, but I haven't done any research.

Bulking for the first time in a couple months.. Good god my stomach hurts. Idk if I've developed an intolerance to lactose or what, but i'm always in knots

I'd agree its unnecessary if it was for any longer than three weeks. lactose intolerance is something that can develop in a person (happened to my dad). I would try taking lactate for a bit see if it helps at all.

I was originally gonna cut down to 12-10% bf but i might go insane on the way, plus my muscle mass isnt high enough for that lean to look good. After vacation (2 weeks!) Im gonna start bulking.. cutting back again should be easy if i add ~10lbs of lean mass

Edit- that could also be the perpetual caloric deficit talking..dont mind me

Oh yeah, ya cant NOT deadlift. If you guys dont do hack squats, you gotta try em out, quad destroyers

Was sick this week and have Lasik surgery tomorrow, which puts me out of lifting for 1 week, plus this week I have missed.

Going to suck major ass but feel so good when I get back into it in a little over a week.

Debating if I wanna switch from:
M- Chest/Bi
Tu - Legs
Wed - Back/Tri
Th - Long run days
F - OFF
Sat - Whole Body
Sun - OFF

to M/W/Sat whole body, Thurs. long run (I am busy on Friday's, can't go to the gym)

I feel your pain. Had a 5 day routine without missing a beat for close to a month, was dedicated to that and my diet, was seeing some great results, and then boom... randomly caught mono last week. Doctor said no physical activity (sports, lifting, basically anything except light cardio) for 4-6 weeks. Pretty shitty considering all the hard work that was put in before that point and the momentum that is now lost. Basically have to start all over again.

I've found 4 day splits to be pretty effective, as opposed to whole body... something like chest/bi, shoulder/tri, back/abs, legs, and then a day of cardio and/or misc core exercises. To each their own though!

Im a full body guy myself. Hit err thang 3 times a week with compound movements

Instead of long runs have you ever given sprints or HIIT a shot?

I've read HIIT is much better for your joints and aesthetics.

I'm only 11 days in with my "lifestyle change", but have stuck to it pretty well. Workout 3 days a week. I do the whole body workouts, but am a fan of breaking workouts off into sections myself. It's just that my gym (free at my apartment complex) doesn't really give me much to work with. I've only ate fast food once since the 4th, and it was Chipotle, so no regrets. Still haven't gotten myself into the macro counting, but I've never been a really heavy eater so my caloric intake shouldn't be a detriment to me. I have been getting that protein, though. I make sure there is a good source of protein with every meal and snack.

Calories are everything... if you dont see results you like in 3-4 weeks, start countin em.

You could be like my old roommate who didnt know what IIFYM or even calorie counting in general was and dunk a basketball at 5'6 while deadlifitng 3 times your bodyweight at sub 10% bodyfat. ....fuck him lol

Congrats man, keep it up!
