As much as it sucks to see him get hurt while he and the team are playing so well, I hope this gives Mike Brown an excuse to finally give Sergey meaningful minutes with the big boys.
Probably just more Jack and Delly. I don't expect Sergey to play much this season regardless of the circumstances.

I don't think people realize just how mediocre we'll look without Dion. We're already at a disadvantage without Andy, but with Dion gone as well I no longer see the Orlando game tomorrow as an easy win.

they played a hard fought game with the Bucks and lost...this team easily has the best player on the floor...continue the defensive effort and we can get the win

So who gives Jack a rest when Delly is running the point in the 2nd with the bench? I'd rather see Sergey over Gee.

Honestly Dion is growing into my favorite player...you can tell how much he wants to be great...and he is "Cleveland tough" the talent is there..

If there's no structural damage I'll say just 2-3 games. I'm sure he wants to get back on the court ASAP, and once the swelling's gone down there's no reason to hold him out.

Obviously if there is structural damage all bets are off, but I'm optimistic based on what I've heard/seen so far.

Any guesses on missed games? Me: 4-10.

I've hyperextended my big toe twice and my knee once. Took me two weeks to get right in each instance (with pain lingering on and off for a month or two). Given that Dion's pain threshold probably makes me look like a huge sissy, I could see him back on the court in a week.

Damn man, Dion was on a nice roll here lately, and so was the team.. I'm hoping this doesn't throw off both of those things. I've hyper-extended my knee before playing basketball, although it wasn't nearly sever as Dion's, I was able to play again 2 days later. It was a tad sore but it was tolerable. Dion's was obviously worse, so hopefully he's out 3 games max... That's being positive. Why couldn't Dion have just rolled after landing... Wouldn't be talking about this right now.

Can't imagine he would be out more than 3 or 4 games for this. Unless there is damage to the knee that they didn't catch.

I'm Dion's biggest fan.

That said, everything I've ever heard is that he's a bit of a wuss or an embellisher when it comes to his injuries. Funny, you'd think the opposite from the mean mugging Philly kid. :chuckles:

I'd expect him to miss significant time.
