Hope they don't rush him back and he blow out his knee

You are an intelligent person. Me? I would have rushed hime back immediately and ordered him to do furocious dunks. Luckily, I'm not in charge.

We aren't to must win games quite yet, but having him back by the weekend is fairly crucial IMO. Last night showed that having Jack as the #2 guy isn't very fun.

EDIT: Not that we didn't already know that.

I wonder if waiters will develope a floater in the off season.. Less contact at the rim and he can get his shot off.

That's what Kyrie seems to have done... I think Dion's body is more capable than Kyrie's though in terms of withstanding contact. It wouldn't be a bad idea to help avoid injuries in general but I wouldn't want to see Dion waste his explosiveness at the rim either.

Is anyone worried that they cavs are downing playing Dione injury like they are with Andy's?

I think we can all agree when he injured it, it looked effing painful.

Not really. All it looked like was a hyperextension, which the Cavs confirmed, and you typically don't tear anything with those. They suck and I'm sure he's been in some pain since it happened, but he'll only be out another week or two at worst.

Ehh, no. What reason would they have for doing so?

Edit: Then again you could ask the same question about Varejao so idk. I don't think they're downplaying Dion's injury though.

I'm just worried that this will keep him out longer then we all thought.

Side note- don't know if this has been discussed, but is the same knee that he injured last year?

Such a shame. Dion was playing fantastic basketball.

No way we make the playoffs without him. We just can't have nice things..

I couldn't imagine walking around after jamming my leg like that. Whenever my hip gets jammed, it can really sting.

Wouldn't be surprised if his kneecap had dislocated and relocated in that series of events. "Knee strain," is a very ambiguous term. "Hyperextension," also often includes a patella dislocation. The area inside his knee all around the kneecap will be irritated for a bit if that's the case. He's had meniscal issues in the past from what I understand, so there's probably some wiggle room in there. Owchy for sure. He'll be back though. He was lucky.

I have no doubt Andy would be playing right now if he could. Dion on the other hand has a reputation for not handling injuries well. We are not tanking anymore so if Dion can play without the risk of long term problems then he needs to get back on the court immediately.

I truly think he needs to be back by the Memphis game and Cleveland needs to go a minimum of 2-2 during the 4 games he is out.

He can't, so he's not.
