Whole team is playing better, they played better before Kyrie got injured too. It's not that this team is better with Dion instead of Kyrie, it's that they finally click as group.

I hope that is still the case when Kyrie comes back.

I don't bash Jack for taking mid-range jumpers. I just have a problem with him taking that shot 3-4 seconds into the shot clock in transition without initiating the offense. I also have a problem with him having open 3s, pump faking, and then dribbling into a contested mid-range shot. Situation is everything. Jarrett Jack has a great mid-range pull-up. It's one of the best parts of his game. I just don't like his thought process at times.

Also Dion is shooting a better % from mid-range on the year than Jack.

Exactly this.

The issue isn't the shot itself. It is how Jack often gets there, which is by vacating a wide-open look only to dribble into a highly contested look just a couple steps toward the basket.

He needs to get to the line to really take the "leap" next year. 20 shots and no trips to the line. This has happened to often even with his improved play overall.

He really has a chance to blow past guys like Beal and Klau Thompson as the best young SG in the league but he needs to get more freebies. Ala against Indiana he looked great in the 4th when his shot finally started falling. FTs would have helped him carry over from his shot was off

I believe if Brown would have started Dion all season, we'd pretty much be a lock for the 8th seed maybe better.

Better phrasing of this would be if Bynum had not been on the team at all, we'd be a lock for the 8th or maybe better.

Dion is playing hard in all aspects of the game now whether his shots are falling or not and he had already started doing that even before Kyrie went down and he was inserted back into the starting lineup. The same was not true for the beginning of the year and the attempt(forced by management) to integrate Bynum into the offense from day one really screwed everything up. I do think it's possible that Dion would have never been moved to the bench if Bynum was never on the team. It messed with the on floor(and locker room) dynamics so much.

A Bynum, like Jack was a complete mess with Grant.

Now time for Kryie/Dion to merge into one unit.

It is funny how nearly every one of us, myself included, thought that the Bynum signing was a 'no lose situation'.. except it wasn't, because he was such an utter and complete cancer. And I think it was SUCH a poor decision it certainly contributed to Grant being fired.

Been said about 27 times that that move was Gilbert's idea.

Let me try to help.

I said "And I think it was SUCH a poor decision it certainly contributed to Grant being fired." - which clearly indicates I hold Grant accountable for this decision. After all, why would I believe someone should be fired for something unless they were responsible for it?

Then you said "Been said about 27 times that that move was Gilbert's idea." - which implies- nay, straight out states - that I somehow didn't think this was Grant's idea- and did not in any way directly respond to my comment.. so, Huh?

And I then said in response "Of course it was Grant's idea. Did I indicate that it wasn't? What I said was that this decision contributed to his demise."

I'm struggling to understand what was unclear about that to you. This is a really odd tangent we are on now. Admit you read something wrong and move on.

The problem is that the premise of your argument is wrong. Gilbert was responsible for the Bynum signing. Our insiders have confirmed that time and again.

Oh, I get that you hold Grant accountable, and I was informing you you were wrong.

So I'll do so again. You're wrong.
