Nice to see xbox didn't go the psnow route and charge to play older games backwards compatibility is awesome.
 
That was the worst conference i've ever seen. Halo/Forza/Gears/Fable meme lives on in full force. The redeming quality of the conference was, I guess backwards compatability?

Only slightly interesting things were hololens, that rare pirate game (i'm coining ass creed rare flag), and well backwards compatability... this conference did nothing for me, you're shooters can burn in hell.

That Minecraft demo for Hololens was nuts. I'll never play it, but it really is amazing how far technology is advancing.
 
Fantastic stuff from Microsoft from what I see. Might have to make some more time for video games this year. Kinda drifted away recently but the announcements today were pretty exciting.

I've never bought an indie game, so hopefully you are right and they don't have any. Spending 20 minutes on indie games is a waste of my life.

Starting the conference with Halo set the tone, and I should have just changed the channel. I saw Fallout 4 last night, and it looks great, although I likely won't buy it, since I would be starting the franchise with the 4th game (or 5th NV).

The pacing was terrible. Right in the middle of the conference, they basically went full off the rails.

Ending with a Rare collection, is a nice idea, and the pirate game looks interesting with literally no gameplay to be seen.

Then there was Tomb Raider QTE. I don't care if Lara can climb, show me somethikg meaningful.

Where was Scalebound, or QB? They would certainly have made the conference much better for me.

Scalebound, Quantem Break & Crackdown will be at GamesCon. Btw no gameplay to be seen of the pirate game... that was gameplay all those green things over the players heads where different people. Its like a rust type of game where you build stuff in this case its boats and other pirate stuff lol. Tomb Raider is about as QTE as god of war not seeing the big deal in that imo its just people find stuff to complain about. Rare collection 30 games for 30 bucks great price on that one .

Indie games are where gaming is at these days with the decreasing amount of AAA games. There are a lot of interesting, great games out there at cheap prices, so you should give one a shot.
 
Haha this EA conference man. I thought the MS one was bad, but this has been terrible.

That was gameplay of the pirates game? My god, I had no idea, nobody did anything... So it's Minecraft on a boat? I would rather take us all out with a belt of dynamite.

Indie games are not where gaming is headed. You can play whatever you like, and I will play what I like. The only indie game that has a chanve to get my money is Killing Floor 2, and that's a small chance.

I meant the TR they showed was just her climbing a rock. The only gameplay they showed was press x to not lose your grip, or press this to jump from falling rock to another falling rock.

I knew they were not showing QB, or SB until GC. Now that I have seen their e3, I have no idea why. It couldn't have made it worse, it was one of the only interesting things at last e3 (SB that is). Why did I watch EA's :(
