Blatt's gotten a lot of heat this year for various things people felt made him a bad coach. Well how about this for a criticism of Coach Bud. He carried himself in the postgame presser like the Hawks were already eliminated. His mood and body language displayed utter defeat. I'm sorry but a coach of the year should be able to do better than that. He's the leader of his team and he's all but saying "i give up" in his body language. Sure youre disappointed but put on a brave face and show your team you still believe in them. If you quit, why should they follow you?

Ill have to disagree with the tv guy who said lebron was carrying the cavs. Ive seen lebron carry this team and this isnt it. This is lebron leading his team and his teammates stepping up

What I enjoyed most was Lebron had his game face on whether in the game or on the bench.

That said Game 3 is gonna be tough. I would be surprised if Atlanta continues to shoot the way they have but I have every confidence that the Cavs can take Atlantas best shot.

I was thinking the same thing about Chicago but there's a pattern here. The reason is Cleveland's defense. It's absolutely suffocating and smothering right now. It's so physical that other teams are getting beat up without actually being beat up. You got Korver, Horford, Carroll all going down. Cleveland's defense is in their heads just like it was in Butler, Rose's, Mirotic's, and Noah's. All these easy bunnies and open shots Chicago and Atlanta are missing? Lasting consequences of our defense being physical.

Well the game of basketball is more than just points.
Many of Atlanta's offensive schemes use the spacing Korver provides, they use the fact that he is such a threat to make him a decoy and pull our bigs out of the paint, etc.
We suffocated Korver and most of the time ATL's offense looked lost.

I sort of am. But we are talking about a Hawks team that has been playing about .500 basketball since early March.

It took them 6 games to beat the Nets. 6 to beat the Wizards.

It isn't like they have been dominating the last month and we suddenly beat them twice in a row.

Hawks have been mediocre for awhile now.
