Emergency Game Thread 2018-19 Season Game #7 | Atlanta Hawks@ Cleveland Cavaliers | October 30th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Obviously there is a different style to Drew vs Lue.
It was evident last year.
More free flowing on offense , less complex D.

This is the type of effort I was expecting from the Cavs from day one. I'm glad they got the 1st win. I'm torn between winning and getting a high lottery pick. What I would like to see is continuous improvement in the youngsters, competitive games but close loses. That sounds jacked up but this is now the nature of the NBA. Don't want to see the Cavs treading water for the next ten years.
I feel you. But I think we can kinda do both. We only need to have the third worst record in the league to have a shot at the first pick (rule change) and we have dug our-serves into a nice little hole. There's 75 games left in season if we win just 1 out 3 games we'll end with 26 wins. Dallas and Atlanta tied for the 3rd worst record with 24 wins last season. Losing doesn't have to be as painful as last time and losing 2 out of 3 while we develop Cedi, Sexton, Nance isn't that bad as long we don't go on 24 game losing streaks.

Anyone else watch Drew's post-game comments? I got the impression this team was completely direction less under Lue.

I kind of feel like Ty was trying to get fired once he started getting orders from Dan and Koby about who to play. He knew he was getting his 16 million bucks no matter what, might as well do it on the beach with the occasional ESPN hit on the Jump or Countdown.
