Emergency Game Thread 2018-19 Season Game #7 | Atlanta Hawks@ Cleveland Cavaliers | October 30th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What was Lue fascination with the mid range?

Drew did clean that up some. Cavs shot and made more threes.

Way better defense/effort.

Can't wait for the Nuggets game.

Why do you feel the need to police people comments?

I said what I said.

SIT TT DOWN WHILE WE'RE UP 20+
If you feel policed, that’s on you.

I am not a mod. I did not tell you to not post or think what you posted.

On a forum, you posted an opinion. People are going to respond. Is the different from you know the game thread to normally be?

As for Tristan. This team has had shit effort all year. Tonight multiple people including TT gave great effort. Is the way to reward great effort(14 rebounds, 4 steals, good communication) sitting the guy before you have taken the starting unit out?

Good game for Hood/Cedi & Hill. Less switching on D was huge. Drew said he was going to work on ball movement and that was also an improvement. 6 guys with 3 assists and Dekker had 4. Pretty solid all around.

Of course we pick up the first W of the season when I couldn't watch. Checked the box score...Rodney Hood was 9/13 for 26 points and 4/4 from 3?!??!?!?! What the fuck. And he dunked on Len? Wow.

Multiple defensive looks. Fluid rotations. Team finally put it together for 4 quarters.

Drew has grown as a coach.

Well played game and its good for the team to get that 1st win finally.

I’m amazed that this team can actually play basketball. They are still a bad team, but they can actually beat other NBA teams!

Anyone else watch Drew's post-game comments? I got the impression this team was completely direction less under Lue.

This is the type of effort I was expecting from the Cavs from day one. I'm glad they got the 1st win. I'm torn between winning and getting a high lottery pick. What I would like to see is continuous improvement in the youngsters, competitive games but close loses. That sounds jacked up but this is now the nature of the NBA. Don't want to see the Cavs treading water for the next ten years.

I'm confused.. Sexton playing the same amount of minutes. I thought that was why Lue got fired? He didnt play Sexton enough?

Put the ball in his hands tho and got it out of Clarkson's to some degree. Young bull had some mistakes but he also had some good passes and he really kept the pace up very high. He unleashed him a bit and you could tell Collin wasn't policing himself as much.

I really don't understand how the Hawks beat the Cavs in the first game with Love.

Hawks = Dumpster juice.

We switched incessantly, and the Hawks made 22 of 47 threes.

Why the fuck did we fire the best tank commander the world has ever known? This is ridiculous. They are playing too inspired right now.
