ESPN Blog:Why the Indians can win the AL Central

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Last year, the Tigers had some pretty damn good luck (Verlander, Peralta, Avila, Valverde all had career years) and everything went terrible for the Indians (injuries, injuries, injuries, Santana having some fairly terrible luck).

I wish the Indians had made ONE MORE impact move to add to their offense, but even adding Choo, Kipnis and a Santana with moderate luck should help significantly. Even if Ubaldo just pitches decently, he's still an upgrade over Carmona/Talbot. The Tigers should come back to earth a bit and even things out. They'll still be the favorites, but I think the Indians can only get better than last year (considering the amount of injuries).

We just have to hope Masterson's 2011 campaign wasn't ALSO a career year.

I mean with their talent level esp on offense its sadly true. Plus we have looked like hot garbage in Spring Training

The team batting average is the Indians' 2nd lowest Spring Training mark in the last 20 years. The lowest in the past 20 years? 2007.

Enough. Seriously, it's fucking enough. I am so sick & god damn tired of the constant negativity eschewed from the radio, tv and forums. It's obnoxious, annoying, and, most detestable, self aggrandizing.

Perhaps you shouldn't post until you name all the "countless first round picks, every year" that were purchased in the NBA draft, something I asked you to do like 2 weeks ago when you made your halfwitted post.

"Ignore User" - it's a beautiful thing.

I feel like our offense struggled in 2007 as well. We lost alot of low run games, our pitching was just out of this world. It is a long season and I'd rather have a bad spring training and a good season obviously but I still feel like we need a fast start to get that momentum on our side.

2007 Batting Statistics

Our offense was actually pretty damn good in 2007. Of course, so was our pitching.

You're right, ignoring a user on an Internet forum instead of going back and forth with them over bullshit certainly shows lack of bravery.

glad to see you posting again sgm
which I had the restraint to stay away from to those on the IGNORE LIST

If we are looking at VLAD as a RH platoon at DH and PT LF , it doesn't speak highly of those not named Duncan auditioning for the remaining bench position
