Farewell, Richard Jefferson.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I remember saying if we simply let the Haywood contract extinguish w out getting the TPE, I'd be disappointed.

Lol.. so essentially, you wouldn't be disappointed regardless of what we were likely to do.. :chuckle:

He signed Kevin Love to a 5 year deal is pretty good or great if you ask me...

That's GREAT, but in regards to evaluating Griffin all this signing/re-signing Lebron and Love stuff just dates back to the fact that we won the lottery in 2014. It opened up the trade for Love, which brought Lebron, who kept Love here.

For me the jury is still out on Griffin. I want to see him make multiple great selections in the draft.

Ehh.. now folks are starting to get emotional and here come the down-ratings..

Forget it... turn the echo-chamber back on.

Or just show he can not overspend on trades, or actually utilize our picks when we have them.... or know how to trade a player for max value rather than just handing out near-max contracts..

But whatevs..

ok.. now I'm done.

LOL at Stein saying that this is to give us negotiating leverage with JR Smith. BETTER NOT FUCK WITH US JR WE HAVE THE CORPSE OF RICHARD JEFFERSON WAITING TO REPLACE YOU

Didn't like it. Honestly expected better than that.

Dorell Wright or even a non drafted prospect. Need more youth.

Richard Jefferson was already bad in a great Spurs team 3 or 4 years ago. I remember seeing the whole team doing well but one guy, and that was RJ.

He is very likely to be impactless. I'd better invest in someone with some athleticism at least.

He's redundant and is probably going to rot in he bench with Miller, Harris and Jones.

RJ didn't average 18 MPG last season because Mavs were trying to save his energy, he's not good anymore. He's still a solid shooter but has lost a lot of athleticism. He is a terrible defender. If you took Marion's above average defense and switched it to shooting then you'd get RJ. Lateral move, imo. Although, don't know what else was out there.

Oh and O'm pretty sure he will not get near 40% on 3s. He's never been a specialist, he just never shot too much. Never been much of a shooter.

I don't think he'll be better than James Jones. Not at all.

Meh, Screw it, welcome aboard Richard.

Damn dude.. by my count exactly one guy slammed the red x on one of your posts.. a bit sensitive, aren't we? :celb (23):

No this board is overly sensitive to Cavs criticism and will follow you around for weeks if you dare to communicate it.

Not to mention, it's not always the most logical board or as smart as it thinks it Is.

I don't disagree with you but we got RJ for the vet minimum, and I highly doubt we'd get Dorell Wright anywhere near that. We really haven't heard anything from Wright, but considering his age, he's likely looking to get however much money he can at this point and simply wasn't interested in the Cavs since we weren't willing to pay him much.

Richard jefferson reminds me of someone

Well we kept our excellent team intact, we added two guys who are excellent three point shooters, and we likely extend Haywood into a mechanism that we used last season to great effect.

Trying to figure out what exactly there is to be disappointed in?

And one other thing, if Griffin took a lot of concerning this board last year for the risk of trading for Love in a walk season, then yes he certainly gets credit for the closing finality of the 5 year deal Love signed, whether he had to get in Loves ear or simply hand him the pen.
